E3 is as dead as the Grammys, no one cares and everyone would rather wait for their favourite streamer/YouTuber to play it first so they know if it's worth buying
I subscribe to several streamers who play my types of games, and most of the interesting games are from small studios.
Too much woke shit and microtransaction-junkies in big studios. And the good big stuff? I'll see it from streamers who don't hate all things gamer White and male.
Have found a few great indie games from streamers I watch (Graveyard Keeper, Rogue Heroes, Crosscode, 7 Days to Die, Gedonia, etc) but can't think of a single AAA game I found from them, I was looking towards Dying Light 2 until I started seeing more trailers and saw it turned into another dumbed down woke sequel so I just went back and played the first one again.
Probably trying to keep the groans of disappointment to a minimum when the next wave of woke trash is unveiled.
In other words everything is such crap they are paying out for rave reviews and then the dissatisfaction of the pleb testing will be drowned out
I'm honestly starting to miss the days of Doritos Pope. We've still essentially got the same corruption going on, but not only was Doritos Pope a better source of memes, but at least they were mostly transparent about what they were doing then.
E3 is stupid and obsolete and nobody cares. It used to be a big deal like 15 years ago. E3 being a big deal was contingent on studios purposely delaying announcements to do big E3 reveals instead. Nobody does that anymore. As a result, E3 is basically irrelevant. It's just a lame marketing thing that isn't hyped anymore.
It's pointless to send industry professionals to these things for meetings anymore because everyone just does meetings on zoom now.
What’s next, do they get their own schools?
What's with the CCP colors?
So the shills will get all the access to the product, mods, devs, execs, etc., and the retards will get to ogle shitty games and titties to screw them out of money.
They just don't want anyone asking them if their lame presentations are out of season April Fools jokes.
Or asking Microsoft if they even have a plan to sell consoles.
E3 has always been elitist.
Oh, it's reedpop. That explains so much. They basically own the big geek convention scene. They're also the reason why it feels so corporate nowadays.
I hope the Penny Arcade owners got their fat stacks because when they did whatever deal they did with Reedpop the PAX shows went straight downhill.
They were going a bit nuts when they ran it, and that's when reedpop swooped in.

How is e3 not dead yet?
