I could have told DeSantis that this is exactly what would happen. That the media would produce a bunch of feelgood articles about how the leftist millionaires all jumped at the chance to help these poor innocent immigrants - all of whom are young females, as far as the average MSM viewer is aware. Now the establishment has a nice new narrative they can run for a few news cycles: conservatives ignore the needy, but liberals don't.
And no, I do not believe the average Democrat voter is intelligent enough to understand how giving 50 people merch is different from giving a million people a lifetime supply of welfare.
I mean, that implies it was only the optics he was after. He could have also just been setting and testing the stage for the logistics of sending the migrants in more and more numbers out.
That might be giving him too much credit, but the narrative isn't the only thing in existence despite the culture war making us think it is.
Anyone who doubted mainstream narratives before this would not have been swayed by the media spin, but a non-zero number of people were redpilled by the hypocrisy. That’s the name of the game right now: make the media sweat when they run cover for democrats, and shave off a few percent of their base every time.
I, unfortunately, know nobody who was swayed by this. Conservatives thought it was baste and redpilled, liberals thought it was literally the Holocaust 2.0, and moderates didn't know what to think because thinking would mean getting off the fence they're sitting on.
Maybe things are different where you live. I hope so.
Generously moving them eventually back to a red state so they can help turn it purple, and then blue. Just as planned.

This is the generosity of the left.
TWO NIGHTS.
THE CHURCH.
They wouldn't even let these people into the hotels. No, they had these people sleeping on the floor in a church.
Martha’s vineyard has more empty beds than ANYWHERE in the US (due to it being a seasonal town and each house being a mansion)
Now send them 50,000.

We'll never accomplish anything by being blackpilled. We gotta keep pushing.
Which is “anywhere but here”.
how about mexico, or colombia, or chile? why does it have to be here?
Rofl.
And why are they not supposed to be on Martha's Vineyard, huh?
I hope these migrant parents were watching their kids. Martha's Vineyard is Pedo Island #2. Whole lot of rich creepy people.
