She unsettles me a little bit, the reason is two fold.
One is that she is extremely good at slinging red meat. I learned long ago to be very cautious when someone is slinging red meat to their audience. Yes I want to hear what she is saying, I agree with much if not all of it. However prior experiences have taught me to be very leery when getting served copious amounts of red meat.
The second reason is that she is so smooth and polished. Granted that she spent decades doing media presentations but still, she is very measured and poised in her presentations.
So, how do you feel about her? Do you think I'm missing things? Maybe you have similar reservations?
And just so it is abundantly clear, I want her to win and do what she says she wants to do. In fact I hope she becomes an example of what can be done when right leaning people finally decide to go on the offensive.
Don't bother trying to figure out her true beliefs or whatever. Assume that she is trying to play you and, at best, she is someone who can be pressured into doing useful things in exchange for a viable political career. If she ever stops being useful, be ready to turn on her and end her career for the next man up. That's the most supportive anyone on the right should be of any politician.
1000% correct.
Regardless of our disagreements on various issues, you seem to be the only one here who has some strategic depth to his thinking.
Good advice and especially true for career politicians, but that goes without saying.
On another note, did you ever post on VNBoards? Your handle reminds me of someone.
No. My handle is just a reference to the DOOM monster, Arch Vile. I'm sure more people use variations referencing that.
All her smooth and polish is practiced. Like her takedown of the CNN reporter, she was waiting, had practiced something like that for just such an occasion. Her speeches are all shrewdly thought out, well researched. In her live interviews on TimcastIRL, the woman is as barmy as he is, and a total hollywood politician. I want her to win, because I know she will do what she has to win/stay in office in the current political climate, but if it looks like dems are going to be a majority again, she'll switch to their policies so fucking fast. Be prepared to vote her out next term.
Use her in office for one term, keep the fire to her feet, never trust her.
She's a standard MAGA. A million times better than any neocon, but still believes in whig history and as a result will be the useful idiot of the people she hates. Her speech at CPAC gives it away perfectly when she talks about how the news org she worked at "became" propaganda as if it at some point wasn't propaganda, bitch please. One of the "We just need to rollback liberalism to the decade I grew up in!" sort of people. So long as the right is "conserving america" we're conserving leftist victories, conservatives are progressives driving the speed limit, etc.
Politicking will always be selling a persona. That’s why the left appeals to young people because they sell vices.
It doesn't matter. She's the R candidate. Just vote for her and don't waste any thought on it.
If she's a dumb RINO in office, too bad, AZ is a purple state that leans slightly blue. Take what you can get. You're not going to primary her without handing the state to the libs.
Vote Blue no matter who still isn't a good slogan if you switch it to Red. Just sayin'.
it 100% is
The United States is a binary choice between Left and Right
Right is always the better choice
PS: recent example. Her speech at CPAC (an org I don't trust)

I like your 'red meat' analogy. And remember how many Tea Party'ers turned out to be something very different.
It is just one of many things to observe but always look at actions and never words.
Words are why so many still believe the big name R's in DC are fighting for them and there's not a globalist uniparty. They've showed their true hand far too many times.
And stop watching/listening to Fox news 100%. No exceptions.
Yeah, we feel very similarly. I heard her on Michael Malice, and was thoroughly unimpressed. As you say, what she said was good...but I thought how she said it sent up a lot of red flags. I don't think she's genuine in the slightest, at least that was my first impression.
She knows what people want to hear, and she'll say it. But it didn't seem like there was real passion there. My take is that she's a politician who saw what Trump did, and what his supporters want, and decided to appeal to that.
Yeah, I saw her on Tim Pool and a couple of other interviews and she seemed alright. Then on Malice's show, every damn question she responded with what sounded like rehearsed boilerplate that sometimes acknowledged the question. And Malice wasn't throwing gotcha questions at her.
For now I'm writing it off as, "she thinks it'll help her get elected." But it did make me raise my eyebrow a bit.
I've noticed the smoothness and polish as well. She's always so calm in the face of attacks that it's almost as if she is on pills.
Regardless, I like her a lot. She's the only one who can make me feel sorry for a journalist. Absolute madgal.
She is part of the system. She is human. She is a woman.
Abandon all hope, ye who enter here.
I just assume I’ll get screwed one way or another. She is a politician after all.
Does Fox News like her? If so, dump her.
