Around here almost all milk is being sold unregfrigerated. That stuff lasts for half a year at least, and that's only the best before date, it'll last even longer.
People have been preserving stuff at home for centuries and if you're running even a small business there are plenty of ways to make stuff sterile.
I mean it looks like their quality control is about as shoddy as penguinzo's and I wouldn't buy meme foods from random tiktok clowns but the assumptions he made are fundamentally wrong.
Yea they don't look exactly trustworthy or competent. I'm just complaining because he went on and on and on about how there's milk, no preservatives and no refrigeration. All of which is irrelevant really. A bad enough seller can fuck up anything, even a bag of salt.
After visiting Asia and finding it easier to get that stuff than regular refrigerated milk, I looked for it in the US and have yet to find it. I would have expected prepper-type places to have it at least, since shelf stable liquid milk beats the hell out of the powdered stuff.
The only milk I see here in those tetrapak containers outside the refrigerated section is the fake nut milks.
also who's the target customer? every household has a fridge, even college dorms have mini fridge in the room and milk consumers usually just finish it in couple days, you either have a habit of drinking milk and just buy more on your weekly grocery shopping or you rarely have milk and just buy a small carton for use in recipes when needed, I really don't see a market for it in the US when supermarkets, refrigeration and transportations are readily available for most of the population.
Of UHT milk? Who isn't? Around here people usually buy twelve packs of 1 liter cartons. That way you only have one opened pack in the fridge and the rest in the store room. Outside of summer you don't even have to put it into the fridge if you use it within a couple of days.
where are you? I don't see the market in US where most households go grocery shopping at the supermarkets at least once a week anyway, those without personal vehicles might have to go every 2 or 3 days. you can even buy refrigerated milk at the gas station marts. is going to giant supermarkets with 25% of the floor space dedicated to refrigerated goods not a thing where you live?
Germany. We go grocery shopping once a week, too, but we only buy milk every couple of weeks. Supermarkets tend to be smaller than what I've seen in the US but there are usually several different chains in the same area.
No real idea why most milk here is UHT. It's more convenient and tastes the same (although some people say otherwise) but I have no idea when it started. You can still buy "fresh" milk in supermarkets but that's usually just a tiny section in a refrigerated shelf vs several pallets of UHT milk.
Half a year [. . .] might be too short for preppers.
I have home made fig preserves that will last four times that. My main grain prep should last ~10 years fairly easily, but I rotate it, so I haven't pushed that number.
but those quantities might not be enough to have preservative effects and just there for taste, we're talking about a sloppily put together product by tiktok grifter afterall. also no listing of food coloring used
If he's talking about something goofy like this it's whatever.
Any time he's talking about something he finds morally wrong he turns into a massive sanctimonious faggot. Like that thing about the minecraft player dying and him trying to shame the people... making multiple videos about it in order to monetize the tragedy.
His first video, as evidenced by the title of the second video, did not achieve his stated claim of exposing and dispelling the problem.. so he makes a second video pointing out that it got worse, and for some reason he seemed to pretend like it would somehow work the second time.
Both videos fully monetized. Either he's an absolute fucking idiot and he's too stupid to realize he's effectively doing the same thing he's criticizing or he's a malicious fucking idiot and doing it on purpose.
Also his "reviews" of movies and games are really bad. I hate to be one of those idiots who say like "did u just ad hominem me sir" but that's literally all they are, he just chains together a bunch of vulgar insults in nonsensical ways and never actually makes any point about what he's criticizing. Which is weird because he's capable of making points in the context of social commentary but that just goes completely out the window whenever it comes to a piece of entertainment media.
Anyone 'reacting' to the death of Technoblade can suck my cock if they're not mentioning the fact everything points to him having died from vaccine site sarcoma. That goes triple for anyone bitching about all the other reactors while doing the exact same shit.
Yeah, I've seen it reported as sarcoma. Rare cancer in a young guy, of a form that has been known to appear at the site of vaccines... timeline lines up with shots, docs offered to chop off his arm, ended up removing part of his collarbone which might mean it had spread to his lymph nodes...
Then there's this on coquin de chien's substack, where you can skip all the cancer stats (though they're interesting) and scroll down to the photos of the old woman's shoulders.
But good luck finding anyone admitting any possible connection between vaccines and Technoblade's death. Never knew his vids or whatever, but if anyone I appreciated died I wouldn't have the brazen gall to call it a tragedy without showing the least bit of appetite to discover what caused it.
In the 'where I've been' video it sounds like it was diagnosed on Aug 2nd last year, after his arm was sore in late July. He's also recommending to get vaxxed in that vid so probably fair to say he had it done not long before that. I meant to say the timeline lines up with the initial shots, not boosters - wanted to say 2nd shot and described it as a booster.
So time to death would have been August until what, last month? But his 'I Almost Became An Amputee' vid is 7 months old already, so it must have been progressing pretty fast. He probably should have got it amputated too, sounded like the doctors were fucking him around and didn't know what best to do.
This about sums it up. Once he revealed his face, he went to shit. I know he's mentoined having talks with people who are in charge of youtube which makes me think he sold out.
It looks like the Klingon blood in Star Trek VI. That color looks like it came from mixing beet juice with something white like mayo or sour cream.
Dragon fruit according to a website (I didn't watch the video).
Is UHT milk not a thing in the US?

Edit: Contrary to his claim the sauce does contain preservatives, e.g. salt, vinegar and citric acid. Same stuff as the mayo I have here, which contains raw eggs.
Penguinz0 is just a lazy reaction video youtuber who doesn't research what he talks about.

My guess is it doesn't last long enough for them. Half a year, maybe a year if you store it well, might be too short for preppers.

I live in America and I buy shelf stable milk. Sometimes my family wants milk. Sometimes they don’t.
Sometimes they won’t drink or use milk for two weeks.
Shelf stable means I don’t have to worry.

yeah seems like it's a response to limited fridge space in stores, space just really isn't a concern here

How is this different from Pasteurization?

Thanx.
>10 minute video of someone who doesn't understand what UHT milk is
God, no wonder I unsubbed.
Something about him bothers me but I don't know why.
Is it the droning, monotone voice?
I think it has to do with just how much he changed from his initial, somewhat unique videos.
It's like he was the prototype for Mr Beast, copying/following trends to popularity while having the most bland and safe opinions possible.
I don't really watch him anymore so I could be wrong.
If he's talking about something goofy like this it's whatever.

Ohhh I didn’t know that part. Looking it up, says it was cancer but immediately after going in for swelling in his arm, makes perfect sense lol.
Yeah virtually everyone is fake and gay.

Wait, how long was it between tge “cancer” diagnosis and his death? I was reading this as a long-term cancer sufferer. Was it a matter of months?

Also his cult fan base pisses me off.
JFC what a drone. I'm wanting to fall asleep 3 seconds in. Eh, I don't waste my time watching people talk out their ass on the internet anyway.
Kind of weird seeing him without his trademark white tee.
