Only because it's turning against them. As in: the content of the app itself.
All of their usually useful idiots posting their degeneracy on there starts to black/redpill a lot of people.
Libsoftiktok account: exists
Simple, astute observation.
Is it a realisation if the masses are only repeating the sermons given by the clergy?
TikTok is filled with the most retarded people ever... worse than tumblr at this point.
The insane part? Tumblr succeeded. That why we are here
It wasn't so much Tumblr but a conspiracy of which it was a component. We didn't realize until gamergate that it was all connected. There was still some faith left in the institutions, and the villains hadn't gone mask off until Trump forced them into the open.
Anyone find it creepy (but not surprising) the Chinese government now has information of tens of millions of kids under the age of 18, including probably some very compromising material that would make Reddit admins blush and probably some really fucked up shit as well?
And we can't do ANYTHING about it because it's Chinese owned. What is the US government going to do, force China to hand it over?
It's one of the big reasons why I fucking hated TikTok. I knew it was a security risk to begin with; too bad Trump backed out forcing it to be moved to the US.
The shitty thing about trump is that he would come out swinging BIG DICK, and then as soon as the lib media rallied against him, he would get scared and back down. It really sucked, and it happened repeatedly with China. He got spooked way too easily by bad press.
yep, he has to swing his dong around. fuck the media
Let us never forget Omarosa
To be fair, US companies collect data for advertisement.
Tiktok collects data to send to a communist intelligence apparatus.
All US companies collect data for the US government, especially the advertising ones.
No, that is simply not true. US companies are free to say no, and there are many documented cases of them saying no. Companies are aware that if they get caught, they'll go bankrupt, so they as a rule don't do it.
edit: There is a lot of public documented legal battles confirming that major tech companies refused to cooperate with the US government and successfully fought off fed attempts to make them comply. If you don't know about this, and you're just assuming that they're in bed together, then you're the tinfoil hatter here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FBI%E2%80%93Apple_encryption_dispute

It's not. You're just paranoid.
Oy vey, how's the weather in Jerusalem, Schmendrik?
Snowden didn't prove what any of the people downvoting me in this thread are saying: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Edward_Snowden#Revelations
Snowden proved that the US govt only got into people's online accounts if they first obtained Court orders.
It also showed that the NSA was tapping into "big data" WITHOUT the cooperation of the host companies "by tapping undersea cables using the MUSCULAR surveillance program."
By contrast, TikTok is like a company that answers directy to the Chinese equivalent of the NSA and does whatever it wants. Private companies do not exist in China. Every single "private" company in China has a CCP board and cannot say no to the CCP government at all for any reason under any circumstance, and anyone who defies this gets disappeared and replaced.
You have a point regarding that apple case but that was regarding data on the device and since phones transmit a lot back to headquarters it makes little difference. The govt can demand that in complete secrecy.
Also I am very paranoid. Phones are: wiretaps, bugs, tracking devices.
No, he's just stupid and/or naive. You can tell from his other comments
No, it's reality.
do you genuinely think big tech is not in bed with the US government, either voluntarily or otherwise?
I know for a fact that they are not: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FBI%E2%80%93Apple_encryption_dispute

WHAT?! Do you really believe this? Are you a fed?
You don't know what you're talking about.
US government data collection on Americans is severely constrained and required to go through shit like the FISA court. This is why shit like the feds spying on the trump campaign was such a scandal.
And for what the US doesn't gather on US citizens directly, it has the other members of the 5 eyes do for them and share it.
Aint no rule against the british spying on us patriots and passing it along to us feds. The cunts.
5 eyes? Try 14. 5 eyes are just the top of the pyramid.
