Done. Why bother being more specific than that? A megacorp that hires, endorses, approves, and publicizes the lolcowlizations is going to hire, endorse, approve, and publicize more of them even if one random individual person becomes so toxic to employers they leave the industry.
If it uses a localizer of Crunchyroll, or Treehouse... don't buy the product, until they clean house.
Unless someone's doing a fan translation, they should have a good grasp in both languages and relevant culture. Funimation and Treehouse had people who don't know japanese (like VAs) write the english script.
Super Robot Wars 30 also suffered from this where they made fun of am androgynous femboy, which is standard stuff for the Japs. But it got butchered into a discussion about pronouns and shit here. It's fucking awful. Luckily fans released a patch for the steam version to restore the original dialogue. But it's still unacceptable for localization to do anything but translate as close to the original as possible, your personal feelings don't fucking matter.
I'm not exactly sure how it worked with this one, but it sounds like the devs are still getting money, so there's no incentive to change localizers. I support fan patches for the import versions. Otherwise pirate.
Changed Emiya Alters skin tone to be lighter after a great degree of whining about it and comments about how japan is, and for some time they've made veiled comments about lolis and such, to the point people think they'll censor Abby (Summer) who'll be coming out this summer, so we'll see if they change her there. They also changed Osakabehime so she does weeb speak, mixing japnese into her english, instead of her jp speaking mannerisms which were very princess-y and refined, until she relaxed and starting speaking like an otaku. The usual "localizer" and not "translator" things.

There's a future lostbelt (the next one I think) where a male character (Van Gogh) appears as a female character, as is usual in fate, but this time it becomes a major plot point. I'm not too clear on the finer details, but when it came out in jp, na heard about it and there was a loud outcry from the usual suspects on twitter and reddit calling it transphobic, I'd be willing to bet they'll change things in that lost belt to better suit the trannys, such as forcing the player character to call them different pronouns or generally changing things so they aren't "insensitive".
So, is this just going to be standard now? Do Japanese companies even care about the quality of the localization, because I don’t get the impression that this is going to change at all. The tranny supply of translators seems fucking endless.
Just learn Japanese and avoid the retarded localizations. I would rather struggle through a game using machine translation (not that I need to) than give these trannies or their works an ounce of my attention, let alone my money.
The translator market is completely saturated with trannies that are willing to work for pennies, probably since they are so mentally ill that they live with their parents and don't really have to pay the bills. They resent their work and their customers, while feeling like saviors illuminating the unwashed masses with their knowledge. Professionals with integrity and respect for the things they work on won't bother with the shitty pay.
I remember the leaked MangaGamer discord logs that showed how much they hated the Rance series, despite being one of their biggest money-makers. I am glad I started that series without touching any translations, as it has become one of my favorite ones.
As mentioned in the linked thread, these fuckers operate like a cartel, and the nip companies are none the wiser since they don't really interact with the western fans.
Shit translation? No bux. Sadly, sometimes you don't even know and there is no real authority of shit translation teams out there. Also less of a backlash.
I’m honestly surprised Japan studios haven’t hired English speakers that live in Japan and dubbed shows there. It allows them to sell their product directly to the US market without this type of shit.
It wouldn't help. Outside of veteran expats, most foreigners in Japan are super liberals or the exact weirdo progressives that believe in this new secular religion. Unfortunately Japanese culture will be following us soon enough.
Crunchyroll.
Treehouse.

Don't forget Funimation!
Because it's not only that.
The very list you never bothered to check before writing a long comment begins with "he's a freelance".

It works, I'm running it myself,
Man I'm really disappointed to see fgo might be going down the drain way more soon. I fucking hate the na team so much, just can't leave shit alone.
i don't like being forced to call a male character "they" just because he refers to himself in a royal manner.
What did the FGO team do? AFAIK Mordred and Astolfo were the two big targets and I was under the impression they got away unscathed.

It's all lost in alsatian.
It might be quicker to list the ones that don’t do that.

This appears to be about "anime" perverts. Who would even.

I genuinely wonder if they actually care, because they seem to have no problem hiring these tranny faggots.
