Trump endorses Dr. Oz - https://citizenfreepress.com/breaking/trump-endorses-dr-oz/ - again roasted in the comments
This is fucking embarrassing. What the hell does Trump think he's doing?? He's gone full RINO.
Trump didn't push the vax onto the public.
I don't really see the problem with Operation Warpspeed that other people do. If you were scared that covid was actually going to kill you and/or 90 years old, then you would be a good candidate for the vaccine. If not, just don't take it. That's the way it would've worked if Trump fairly won his second term.
Many prominent Democrats including Kamala Harris are on record in 2020 saying they would not take the "Trump vaccine."
Hypocrisy is one of the central planks of the DNC platform.
If the vax worked, I would agree with you.
However, it's quite apparent now that the vax doesn't actually work. This is obvious if you look at the data. In countries where 90%+ of the population are injected, we still see the same (or higher) cases, hospitalizations, and deaths.
Early on, when a significant fraction of the population was not-injected, it was okay to believe that maybe the vax had a positive effect. That's what the statistical data was suggesting. However, we now can see that the statistical methodology that created this was fraudulent -- With the vast majority of people having taken the injection, we no longer see any benefits at all.
And here we get to the problem. Was Operation Warpspeed good? Maybe in theory. But in reality what Operation Warpspeed did was permit massive fraud by these corporations and their govt & financial allies, with no discernable benefit on health and actually net-negative due to huge numbers of vaccine injuries that have been swept under the table.
This is more of a lesson in "crash course" research projects than anything. It's the first time in history that we've had a moon shot program to develop a biological countermeasure, and at the time it seemed like it was worth trying. People like Robert Malone thought it was a worthwhile avenue, so why should Trump be expected to have better judgment than scientists with 30 years experience in biodefense?
Failure is not a complete waste, it gives you info that you can only discover through action.
I think most rational people believed it was a good idea.
What's not a good idea is continuing to tout it as a great achievement. It's perfectly reasonable to say, "We tried it, we wanted to help people. But these scumbags abused our trust and used this opportunity to try and grab more money and power. We got suckered, and as a result they got rich and more people died. We can't let them get away with that."
That if you assume this wasn’t planned years before the outbreak. Which there’s plenty of evidence that it was. From WEF forums with Bill Gates talking about Corona virus strategy in 2019 all the way down to Reddit smearing “antivaxxers” in 2018-2019, there is little to indicate this was “crash course” anything.
Coronaviruses have been on biodefense radar since SARS and antivaxxers have been pariahs far longer than the last 4 years. But yeah, I'm not ruling out some level of premeditation or at least opportunism. Western governments have been very coordinated.
Agreed.
He made its development possible, nothing more.
I think the vax is a good thing for the elderly, the sickly, and the hamplanets.
Dr. Oz is a grifting Democrat faggot
so he's back to saying whatever people want to hear
If he runs again it will be all about 2020 election and Jan 6
Dr. Oz and David McCormick are both completely terrible senate candidates for PA.
Sean Parnell was the best choice but domestic violence allegations during his ugly divorce forced him to drop out.
The Dem nominee for PA senate is socialist Lt gov Fetterman who resembles Shrek.
PA voters are stuck with Oz vs Fetterman or McCormick vs Fetterman.
PA senate race is beyond fucked.
Trump is the reason we have to worry about the shitty mandates. I will never forgive Trump for Operation Warpspeed.
The last two young un's elected were Clinton and Obama/ because they were young and chipper and look what we got.
If Trump becomes President again in 2024, he'll be 77 years old, which is as old as Biden was when he took office. Trump is a lot more vital than Biden, but he's also a couple of years younger, and Biden was also still pretty vital when he was VP under Obama. It can go very quickly at such an age. I'm imagining Trump winning the primaries and then going downhill immediately afterwards, that would be a disaster.
If you ask me, DeSantis should run. He would probably win in a landslide, and it's certain he won't get dementia in the coming years.
We literally pay people to stop working when they turn 65 because they become a gigantic drain on any business stupid enough hire them. Yet the vast majority of our politicians hail from this useless demographic.
You never stop gaining experience and wisdom until you brain starts to fail. Every decade of your life you'll look back on the previous and think "man, I was a real 'tard back then". Even when you're 90 you'll say there's so little time left, why did I waste so much in my 80s on things that didn't matter.
On the other hand, as we've seen with Trump / DeSantis our problems are not really that complicated or difficult. All it takes is a normal person who isn't an actual demon.
Tired of this excuse. This is how they smeared Bob Dole in 1996 for being “too old” and he lived through another two entire 8 year administrations after Clinton’s second term.
The Democrats were already making totalitarian decrees in April 2020, a month before Operation Warp Speed was announced. Trump commissioning the development of new vaccines so that they would be available for anyone who wanted them doesn't make it his fault that his political enemies mandated their use.
It's not his fault, but he is the de-facto leader of the actual American people. He's kind of a piece of shit for what he did to the J6 people. Dude's greatest supporters rotting in jail, literally being tortured, and he doesn't step up to help them defend themselves.
Same thing with the vax. Millions of Americans being forced out of jobs, fighting legal battles to defend their right to medical choice, and what's he doing? Fucking bragging about helping drug companies bypass the regulations that normally would help prevent them from committing massive fraud.
No one is coming to save you.
don't ask questions, consume endorsements and get excited for the next endorsements
He didn't push mandates asshole. He pushed the vax because of the fear mongering. It was an election year remember. He obviously thought the coof was a public health threat just like the public. The Dem's brought this shit over here so they could rig the election. When saw it worked that well, they took the ball and ran with it. They did the mandates and you fell for it you ignorant piece of crap. Educate yourself and don't blame others.
Trust the plan. He's gonna drain the swamp.
He's lost it
They compromised him.
Not sure how, but they did (either they threatened his kids or he's fully in the thrall of that rat Kushner).
Though as other have pointed out, he didn push the vax, he just made it easier to develop.
Trump is not serious about winning anything anymore. His meteoric rise to prominence is only the result of desperate conservatives (myself included) looking for someone, anyone, who won’t deliberately harm it. And even if he does win in 2024, the America he inherits will be in even worse shape than when he left it in 2020.
Trump was a democrat. Then he was a republican. He's whatever thinks will serve him.
Personally this has removed any doubt on my part about whether he or DeSantis would be better-suited for 2024. Trump's not only ancient, he has just shown that he simply doesn't and never will have the judgment of character for the White House. He gets back in and as satisfying as it will be to hear the left reeee, it's pretty damn clear from this & his trail of other terrible endorsements that he'll continue to fail catastrophically in dealing with the Deep State. And as 2017-2021 already demonstrated, the latter is of vastly greater consequence than the former.
Fuck's sake, Oz's progressive positions (up to & including promoting transgender surgeries for kids) are pretty well-documented at this point. Even if Trump manages to get the presidency back in 2024, it looks like all the FBI brass need to do to keep their jobs is blow some sunshine up his ass, then he'll happily declare that he's impressed upon them the need for change and they'll happily go right back to plotting his overthrow and/or demise.
Personally I think they going to run together. Mr. ancient has more experience in the tip of his little pinkie then all of you libtards combined. What was the economy like when he was in office? What were the gas prices? What were the food prices? He had a solid plan for getting us out of Afghanistan without leaving $85 billion in military equipment behind. The equipment that NATO is giving Ukraine, at your expense, is showing up on the black market right now for pennies on the dollar. He kept us out of war. Had control of all radical foreign leaders. Pfizer wasn't making record profits while killing people, now were they. What experience do you have picking anything, Mr. I never even ran a Cub Scout troop?
This is accurate, though many still cling to him because he’s the only candidate that actually loves America. Everyone else is SO BAD that he looks great in comparison. I’m pissed he’s letting J6 protestors out to dry, people that he called on to support him. Also mad about his endorsements/ picks, which suck from top to bottom. But given that literally everyone else on both parties are bashing America like a piñata in hopes of getting gibs, he is the only one willing to fix it.
Doesn't seem like it to me. There is a bunch of posts mocking Oz on the front page right now. The sticky about the announcement had the top comment saying it was a bad idea. This is a huge improvement over when the site first launched. ANYTHING critical was banned.
That is disapointing. And the GOP aint doing hot either since they're all rinos and all talk.
