Notice that they are all shitty worthless masks. If you really want to avoid some kind of pathogen, and you ONLY have a mask to do it with, cloth masks are worthless. Get yourself a moldex, those are the masks the poor bastards that have to clean up mold infestations wear, and they will stop anything short of a nerve agent. Cloth masks are to viruses as the TSA is to aircraft terrorism: theatre.
If you can't get those, aren't N95s pretty good tho. They're no longer unavailable and they ACTUALLY fucking protect you unlike these so-called "nonsurgical" disposable masks.
They're easy to get because people are stupid. Most people don't think of a hardware store as a place to get medical masks. Same with sanitizers. Remember when people went nuts buying anything and everything made by Clorox? You could visit a restaurant supply store, and easily buy a bottle of concentrated sanitizer solution, 20 bucks makes 50 GALLONS of sanitizer, and unlike bleach-based shit it's food safe and MORE effective.
If you have even a 1mm gap they drop to the level of cloth masks but theoretically yes, but practically no.
