It's the kind of thing you demand evidence for, but at the same time so absurd no amount of evidence will suffice.
I could have been a student at this school, literally witnessed someone shit in a letterbox and I still wouldn't believe it as a defense mechanism.

I was teaching freshman comp and had a student of indeterminate sex who claimed to be a fox "otherkin." He or she (a rather androgynous looking young person) wore a coonskin cap and a fox tail out her back pocket and frisked around, which she probably imagined a fox might do.
You cannot make this nonsense up. Now such delusion is not only being seriously countenanced but protected and nurtured. It would be harmlessly eccentric were it not for the pernicious political lobby that apparently wants to normalize delusions and hallucinations and that demonizes/silences anyone who objects.
Anything goes, as long as it ain't normal or wholesome.

I was expecting a Babylon bee article. I remember joking some years back that people will identify as differently animals one day. I still don’t get why identifying as a different race is bad but a man saying he is a women is taken as gospel. I mean a white person with like 5% African DNA has more claim to say they are black than a man has to say he is a woman
Tranny politics is informed by the persecution complex. They point to the violence done to trans-sexuals (politically speaking, rather inconsequential) and declare that opposing their delusional and dangerous definitions is exactly the same thing as condoning or promoting violence against them.
This is why I was booted off normal reddit--for taking issue with a tranny who reported my comments as "hate speech" and had me suspended for three days.
We suffer this shit only because of the cowardice of academics and bureaucrats everywhere who cave to critical social justice shitheads at all times.
