After hot mic exposes news anchors attacking Djokovic, Channel 7 more interested in a witch hunt to find the source of the leak (which they falsely claim is illegal) instead of addressing the vile comments (twitter.com)

We were shown the conversation intentionally. It bolsters the narrative they're trying to sell to Australians, that it's normal to think the unjabbed are assholes who aren't "doing their part."

I came to the exact same conclusion.

Funny how Channel 7 is suddenly calling the release of a private conversation “illegal”.

7 didn't think that when they released a conversation where Elton John PRIVATELY slammed Madonna.

BTW if another person was in the room, it's not considered private.

Not illegal to share.

The lying press defends its own.

Its only illegal if it's used in court.

It's perfectly legal to take a stolen recording and use it to discredit someone.

No.

It depends on the jurisdiction for recording convo- some places are 1-party consent so only 1 person needs to know it's being recorded, some require everyone to be aware.

But that's for phone calls or private convos. If you're mic'd in a TV studio with a bunch of crew around there's no reasonable expectation of privacy, it's 100% legal to record, publish or admit to court as evidence.

Like they didn't release it themselves to make news.

This is staged.

I did say this, on my own post of the video, yesterday...

But you know, more karma, gimme gimme...

To give benefit of the doubt, maybe OP just didn't see that one, or whatever. But anyway, yes. I fully expect you are right.

Reposts just clog the main post feed up. If it's the same content, reposting it is fairly redundant.

Fight me. Or else fuck off.

Nah. They've released the draw, and as of now, he's in it...

But it's way, way more complicated than that.

Can't exactly play if you're deported, now, can ya..? :-/

It's pretty hilarious when the press claims it's illegal to do something they do every single day, without a hint of irony or self reflection.
