Scarlet Nexus is the only thing I've played from 2021. It's not bad and the combat is fun, but it's not a game of the year if I were being fair. Won't win anyway as it's got white people and anime chicks in it.
Isn't Deathloop pretty woke? Might win some stuff. That Life is Strange game will probably win something. The cover has rainbows and a leftist chick on it so it must be full of woke.
Haven't bothered to download 5 yet. Just like with previous ones it's fun to drive around but I prefer racing on tracks over a mix of random land. I always hate having to re-purchase the same cars. Maybe they added some more cars I like to make me want to try.

What fucken gamer rock did you crawl out of? Homeworld is a space combat RTS that is looked upon very fondly by real time strategy fans. Homeworld is the first strategy game to utilize three dimensional depth as part of it's gameplay. It also has a very good science fiction story. I doubt Homeworld 3 will achieve any special milestones but people liked the other two quite a bit.
French devs finally got the memo to stay the fuck away from Ubisoft, long are are the days of old glory that gave us Far Cry, Splinter Cell, Rayman, Beyond Good and Evil, Alone in the Dark, Dishonored, Trackmania, Dofus/Wakfu or Arx Fatalis... like movies French video games are doing the pompous "too deep for you" with shite like Life is Strange, Beyond Two Souls, Heavy Rain or Remember Me.
There is still hope, smaller/indie game like Greedfall, E.Y.E, Deathwatch, the Wargame series or the modding community with Raven for Thief and the plethora of my countrymen showing a weird fixation for.. fixing games that are 15 years old or more.
Wow I think Scarlet Nexus and RE8 are literally the only new games I bought this year, couldn’t give a fuck about the rest.
I don’t have time to watch it right now, but I’m just gonna predict that Deathloop won fucking everything cause black people and hope that there’s some interesting footage of shit I actually care about like Elden Ring.

Seems like there's always some angry, middle-aged, man-hating lesbian (last two adjectives are synonymous) as the protagonist. I have zero interest in playing those games.
I used to like beat-'em-ups but the only ones we seem to get these days are some ugly, chibi-style, Flash-style or 4-bit pixelated games. Streets of Rage 4 seemed to be a rare anomaly this generation.
I'd heard of it just last week saw some video. Looked pretty cookie cutter Sony style third person game to me. So not super surprised if it checks woke boxes and everyone fawns over those type games anyway

Yeah I don't know if it's age or the games coming out or a little of both. It wasn't all that long ago I was a CoD, Halo, Assassin's Creed, and Fallout junkie. Now, I still game a lot and it's mostly old or weird stuff. I keep looking expecting something new to get my attention and it doesn't really come. It doesn't matter I've got years of old stuff to try out.

I didn’t care for homeworld 2. It’s impact is such that I can’t remember what it was even about.
Yoko Taro most likely, he's the creator of that series. He's batshit crazy and that's really the best way to put it. I do like the games though.
