Because while the insane theories underlying the Philosophy of the Left have only just recently been brought to the fore, academia has been churning out woke retards for at least two decades now.
These companies do this because their pool of talent has been diluted and wokeified.
'Woke' is a mental defense people use to avoid accepting the fact that women rule them and decide what they may and may not enjoy in their free time, what they may and may not express as their opinions.

Yea, like those laws will ever be in our favor. Sex discrimination is ok if done against men and race discrimination is fine when used against whites. Women can do what ever they want at the office but a guy can't look a girl in the eyes for more then 5 seconds (actual part of my mandatory training)
Where I work they are 80% women in every department except mine. They still hold women empowering seminaries and since the IT department is not 80% women we have an unspoken rule of hiring every women that is willing to do the job and is not a complete moron. I'm not holding my breath for sex discrimination laws to ever protect guys. At least not in my lifetime.
On a somewhat silver lining, my work consists mostly from correcting and helping out the diversity hires. I would probably have a different job if it was not for them.
It would be worse until said companies stopped functioning because they fired all of the people doing most of the work.
I say repeal ALL anti discrimination laws. They all violate free association anyway. Then let the chips fall where they may.
