Don't forget backing up others who are standing up.
I saw a social experiment, years ago, where they had a guy go to a park and just start dancing. When he was the only one dancing, people just observed him. However, if just one more person joined him, everyone else would start dancing too.
The second person is nearly as important, maybe even more important, as the first person to stand up.
is it an actual crime not to wear a mask, or is it some "trespassing" bullshit where someone who doens't have any authority told him to wear a mask or leave and he declined
I'm starting to question whether Canadians even deserve freedom at this point.
Like, we go to the cenotaph and thank the veterans for giving us freedom, but that's not really how it works, is it?
They made is easier for us to live free; we don't have to risk our lives fighting Nazis. But if we don't live in a way that venerates freedom, if we just do things because others are doing them, for example, instead of doing them because we have decided we should, that's not living free.
If we go to the cenotaph just because it's the thing that's done, and not because we feel compelled to honor a sacrifice, what's the point? Why not just go to the mall?
Covid has illustrated just how many people actually don't bother to think and, horrifyingly, it seems to be the vast majority. Even now, when we know that physical distancing has the same effect at 6 feet or 60 feet, that masks statistically don't affect the spread, that the vaccine is neither safe nor effective, and that the virus itself is just not that dangerous at a population level, people still insist on following government orders, and even cheering them on.
That's living as an unthinking automaton, a slave.
Anyone who allows themselves to live like that doesn't deserve to be free.
I no longer trust Canadians living in America. Even if they prefer living in the US unless they explicitly reject leftist totalitarian values I'm going to assume they grew up without an understanding of liberty.
Viruses don’t even cause disease. They are just a marker of sick tissue, like a nutritional deficiency, or an exposure to a toxin.
I agree with you, but honestly I’ve also realized that without God, there is no such thing as freedom or morality. Most people are materialists, so what would they know about freedom?
Aha! I was going to post this, but didn’t want to clog the site too much with my posts… So I’m glad someone else did!
I have a similar video of someone getting arrested at the football, a few months back, for “defying mask orders” (in Australia, that is). I might post that. I was pretty much THE ONLY ONE in the whole grandstand to boo/raise a fuss/support the guy, and my father tried to shut me up. Very sad…
Side note: how do you embed Tweets on here..? I haven’t figured out how to do that, yet…!
If you expect the masses to rise up now you’re going to find yourself standing alone…
And yet we always talk about waking other people up instead of standing up ourselves.

Always have been
Nobody in that room can say they would have stood against the mass murdering dictators of old
But will unironically call anyone on social media they disagree with a Nazi.

Not 100%, but I think it's definitely the technical "trespassing" bullshit you reference.

I’ve never trusted them. About time people started getting wise here
Even the Canadian right are bunch of pussies. It's like they've been genetically hard-coded to be weaklings or something.
Remember, many of the ancestors of modern Canadians faught against the patriots in the Revolutionary War. Never forget.

This makes me very sad. I have probably attended classes in that classroom for that very subject.
How we got here is no one standing up to government bullies.
This is how you take young talent dark...
“We’re so much freer than you uncultured Americans! Just look at our commitment to safety, diversity & inclusion!” - Canadians.

More proof the cops are not on our side, not that we needed any more proof.
The people you see driving alone wearing a mask will cheer the loudest while you’re dragged to the gulag.
Well if he won't open his own fucking mouth, he should hardly expect them to.
Walking away in silence like a good boy? Gimme a break.
He says something like “It was worth it” about 13 seconds in, apparently… At least according to the Tweet replies!
I wonder what the Scrabborough guy would say "The cops treated him so nicely, if he was black..."
But what do they charge him with?
I can't control what people do in Ontario but I definitely handle shit when it happens to or around me.
