On a related note, a farmer from Peru is currently suing a German energy company in Germany because he built his farm near a glacier that's allegedly melting, and he blames the energy company because "muh CO2 emissions".
The Peruvian is represented by a German NGO that got millions of € from the state and the German court accepted the lawsuit and decided to take a trip to Peru (on the tax payers dime of course).

CO2 goes up in the atmosphere and reflects the sun, also it speeds up vegetation growth.
