We worked subcontracted to a state department gig and you could always spot US plainclothes security from a block away. They never fit in no matter how hard they try.

The regulation haircuts aren't helping.

They've all done the "grey man" thing where they're wearing the full 5.11 catalog of tacticool Street wear

They're not even having fun with it. Not a Hawaiian shirt in sight.

Here is what I want to know. Did they independently dress like slightly hipsterish suburban dudebro types from their own closets or did they have some coordinated costume brainstorm session?
I kind of love the pattern t-shirt on middle guy. Is cute.

Well, I'd wager many feds are hipsterish suburban dudebros so they probably just did it without thinking.

You'd think the feds could spring for proper deep concealment holsters and a lesson from a CCW class on cover garments.

But when your badge is a get out of jail free card if you get caught printing, concealment is less important.

Honestly, the bulging pockets don't look like holsters to me. They look like clam shell sun glass cases. Even still, the fact that they all have them screams military standards of conformity. The military precision these guys are trained for betrayed them.

This is so fucking hilarious. What you have here is 6 guys who are clearly bound by the same cultural norms, the same dress codes, the same hygiene standards, the same fitness requirements. The uniformity screams federal agents.

These guys look like they're standing around at the federal holiday barbecues they attend at each other's homes. Just hanging out, shooting the shit doing the watercooler talk about work.

I bet they showed up at rally using meticulously crafted instructions telling them when to depart their homes or offices, which routes to take, where to park, directions to walk to specific yet separate entry points, at specific time intervals studied and designed by dozens of behavioral PhD scientists so carefully designed to disrupt any perceptible pattern that would blow their cover.

And yet it's all defeated because they're just dialing it in. They're so elite that they don't have to work for it. Their physical fitness betrays the fact that they've never had to chase down any "criminal" they're after like your typical beat cop busting his ass day in day out. Intelligence information is handed to them on a silver platter from the most sophisticated and over reaching surveillance system ever crafted. They're so used to just going through the motions that they didn't even realize that they were being driven together through the thousands of protestors to associate with each other by their complete detachment from the general populace.

Or a radio. Center right has what looks like a cable running up under his shirt into his pocket.
