I know that I have the Xbox version and I played it last summer. It's still just fine as it is. With the stat based combat and all even the controls hold up just fine. Sony commissioning someone to remake ruin a game and make it a PS5 exclusive makes me in no way more interested in buying their machine.
These are dark times indeed. There was a time where I may have been excited for something like this; however, nowadays movies/games are mostly creatively bankrupt and rely on reboots and remakes because they can't form original thoughts anymore. It's all nostalgia-driven trash. Creativity is nearly dead, and those who are creative are labeled as disruptive or bigots, etc.
This will be another example of something where they can't help but make unnecessary changes to placate the perpetually insecure victims who don't even buy their products to begin with.
Of course they crush anything that people would actually want. They're intent on driving the series into the ground.
It's a shame what the franchise has become. Disney has become a cancer that destroys everything it touches. It's a shame. We'll be seeing the MCU continue it's sharp decline as well. They're too stupid to realize that the only reason people hung around for most of the latter MCU movies was continuity leading into Avengers. They're likely not going to have anywhere near that kind of momentum heading forward.
Yep got really excited and less then a minute later got a naught in my gut. So how are they going screw up bastilla. Literally just update the engine and art assets, get it to play as close as possible to the original with the new engine and match up the lip sync with the original voice acting. Easy money. Don’t screw it up but they probably will
