This should be a surprise to no one because subreddits were blacking themselves out in protest to the reddit group not being banned, which caused the streisand effect to kick in and have more people follow the group.
It was really dumb. They could have come over here AND promoted their own website. They could have done nothing but shill their subscription app, and the .win admins probably wouldn't have stopped them.
