The barrier for entry to The Internet has gotten lower and lower as the years have gone by, ergo the discourse has gotten shittier and shittier. We're still in the Eternal September, and it's only going to get worse so long as we allow any moron with a smartphone access to the 'net at large.
The we are not, the power trannies are holding a hundred thousand normies hostage. I guarantee that 99% of the people of the subs are thinking fuck this, but don't want to lose social points.
It makes me think kicking t_d off has been worse than they expected or have let on. The last thing they probably want right now is another exodus of users when they’re eyeing an IPO.
And they probably know that these asshole mods won’t put their money where their mouths are and rally their communities to leave for the pathetic cause of censoring people.
When news came out that T_D's subscription numbers were being suppressed I did a quick analysis of the highest subscription subs both defaults and non-defaults and the amount of posts they generated per day. Then I used that data to extrapolate a possible real subscription number for T_D. The figure I came to was +6 million subscriptions. For a non-default sub that's a YUGE number.
But the banning of T_D it just a small portion to the numbers of users that Reddit has purged in the months since T_D.
Personally I think until recently, Reddit was using the purges to pump their user numbers since most of those people will just recreate accounts. However, about 2 months ago all of my accounts on Reddit that had either suffered a one sub or multiple sub ban were banned site wide as well as my sleeper accounts laying in wait to be used. Those accounts were created using different browsers in private mode on different machines using different IP addresses. The only common factor was the VPN I was using for creating them so it must have been a VPN wide ban.
If you haven't noticed, .win is growing. Activity is increasing. I think the admins are realizing they've gone too far and are creating their demise.

Interesting, that's approximately when my reddit account got flagged for "suspicious activity". They say I can have my account back if I reset my password, but I really can't be bothered. I only ever had the one account, so I attributed it to me looking at financial subs like superstonk.
I suspect that these moderators are heavily responsible for reduced engagement across the whole site. Enough that they likely know more people leave their domains quicker and with fewer clicks than on non-powermod forums. And after they lost wave after wave of users that were creating content and other subforums are becoming harder to artificially inflate to all.
And they might also be eyeing a porn ban and knowing that these powermods are degenerate pervert they don't care. This might literally play into their plans to remove these advertiser repellent forums and break the powermod stranglehold. If they are doing it right, they will likely softly and quietly suffocate the most extreme porn forums first and work their way up to the major gonewild subs.
Self-censoring your subplatform because the main platform won't censor other people.
Fucking skirt dick troon mods.
Dear Spez:
You made your bed, and now the tranny in it wants his "girl dick" sucked. Get on it you fucking faggot.
I'm going with the inevitable heart-inflammation into early death.
By the tenth booster I'd expect the patient to either be dead or a creature from Cronenberg World.
To the point that it probably wasn't noticed at first. Or for a while after.
They've now had to continue stomping their feet because their gesture of defiance was so pitiful nobody cared.
whatever happened to the
mentality? that was a pillar of Internet culture in the 00s, and it completely evaporated in the 10s
Someone let a bunch of normie fucks on the internet.
Smart phones allowed the very people we went to the internet to escape to perform a hostile takeover.
Social media happened.

I don't get why Reddit seems to be growing a spine now of all things.

Perhaps we both got caught up in some wider net.
The silent majority is speaking.

Protesting disinformation when you call some juice that doesn't protect and doesn't stop you from spreading "a vaccine"
poor babies
Who cares.
If a tree falls in a forest and no one is there…
That is so fucking funny. Burning my house down will teach my neighbor to recycle his trash.
Good riddence, i hope these trannie jannies who call it a slur are closed forever. it will make the average post quality go WAY up.
