I am beyond done with people whining about how Trump 'wasn't presidential' or some other nonsense about how they just wanted things to go back to normal, or lamenting how divisive things were during the Trump years. This was laughably predictable, and the biggest thing the White House is concerned about right now is a lame attempt at damage control and making sure no one takes responsibility. 'The buck stops with me' my ass, Biden, you can't say that and then blame the mistakes of your predecessors for the current mess.
I hope so called 'centrists' and Democrats are happy with the regime they helped propel into office. They're going to get to see what real harm the apathy of selfish, arrogant people can inflict on the world. I hate saying things like this but at this rate we deserve what we're going to get.

I love how the follow up press briefing revealed their strategy was to bribe the Taliban to recognize human rights though - they've already beaten the shit out of you and stolen their country back, now you're going to pay them for it. Yes. A court stuck it down because reasons. Honestly if I were him I would've said fuck the courts and continued to decide who I want at the press conferences. Courts have no jurisdiction over WH affairs.
