COVID is absolutely endemic. That's actually one of the primary reasons people should stop freaking out about it. 100% of the people you know will get a variant of COVID at some point in their life, the same way 100% of the people you know will get the flu at some point in their life.
Which invalidates the argument for the vaccine to be mandatory. I support mandatory vaccines for other diseases like measles because the are a permanent solution to a permanent problem. If you cannot induce permanent immunity to COVID then the only possible solution is strong border control until it is eradicated worldwide.
If it was ever questioned, Yes, they do see you as cattle. They allowed us to stay free ranged. Now the tax cattle will be caged and veal-fed if we allow it.

Eh, my piece of shit Mac does the same thing, sadly, lol... As does my IPhone, so... Apple is at least as bad, sadly, lol...

I believe Macs have an easy setting to turn off system updates, or configure it to download but not automatically install them.
In Windows you can "Delay update for 7 days" or install a third party tool that might stop working after the next update.
My PC rebooted itself in the middle of playing Fallout 4 when I hadn't saved for like an hour. Almost put my fist through the monitor.
