NHL put a woman on playoffs a couple years ago. She was hilariously bad. I don't think they stuck with it. Part of their problem is they always want to qualify the woman as a sports girl, so in this case it was an Olympic medalist that had no broadcasting skills at all.
Outside that NHL is going downhill quick. Huge Canada influence there. International hockey can be fun and not woke.
There was a time I would've said "As long as it's not mandatory, who cares? It's not removing anything, just adding extra content", but the slope is slipperier than ever and EA is woke as fuck. I only wish I were a FIFA fan so I could boycott it.
Unfortunately most people playing FIFA are just average guys who like soccer, used to play it for fun but they have no time now. They are mostly unaware of woke invading games and never heard of gamer gate. They will most likely just shrug it off as a nice thing EA is doing.

Hockey cucked out years ago when they went on strike and skipped a whole season. I couldn't believe it when fans came crawling back.
