They carry on as if this were Auschwitz, but over nearly 100 years? Kids die!

Especially from 1880 to 1940, child mortality was much higher than today. Not all the kids had parents or family, so they were buried on school grounds.
One of the "mass graves" had 2 of the founding Principal's infant children buried there.
One site had been burned in a fire destroying all the wooden crosses marking the graves, so the Church cleared the rest & promptly forgot about it.

It's manufactured hysteria, which is all the Liberal Party has to offer now.

Exactly. I don't hear anyone talking about any forensics, just screeching as if all the deaths were to do with abuse or some shit.

Meanwhile, I've actually seen a mass grave. Not associated with any "institution", either. It's kind of in the middle of nowhere, off a back road in the North Peace country, and it contains smallpox victims from the 1920s. The ex and I sort of stumbled upon it while exploring a farm area we used to live in, about 20 years ago. It's marked by a sign and some wooden barriers and stuff, iirc; didn't stick around long, because "smallpox" scared the fuck out of both of us, and we just didn't feel comfortable hanging around there for long.

I worked at Gallipoli a couple of years ago (it's kind of an Australian write of passage thing, I guess), and walking around, up the road and the tracks around the memorials, you... Find things. Spent bullets. Bones. Skull fragments. Old buckles. Bits of leather boots...

I didn't grab anything or take any of it with me, because that's kind of, uhh, probably not the best move, in a country like Turkiye, surrounded by a bunch of people who came their to pay tribute to their ancestors, but it was very much littered everywhere, and you just... Walked past it and kept moving. So yeah, I get it.

But despite how weird all that felt - the unmarked graves, the body bits, etc, I didn't feel "mad" at the Turkish for their disrespect, or make anything much of it other than "Shit, that's unfortunate", and to feel that it was kind of... Eerie.

So yeah. Shit happens. In war and otherwise. You just (as we tried telling the Aboriginals, up until, like, 2007) have to get over it, and move on with your life. You don't have to "accept" it, but stewing on and over it ain't gonna help anyone. Certainly not anyone still living, anyway, lol.

And not a peep from them about actual mass graves in communist shit holes. The UN will probably shut up about this if Comrade Blackface succeeds in turning Canada full commie. And they sure as shit won't make a peep about any mass graves that are Comrade Blackface's doing.

Doesn't matter if you "trust" them, or if a majority does. This is the same decades-old leftist tactic of smears against an entity by a "respectable" institution or NGO. The smears are later used to apply pressure or justify some unpopular legislation.

I wish the Church werent currently run by modernists, because the U.N. belongs in mass graves. (This isnt a call to violence).

Notice how the UN abuses twitter's flagging system to censor EVERY correction under the "show more replies" section

Ridiculous. All of these gravesites are documented and some included graves of adults and others in the community. The wooden markers rotted away and were never replaced.

More than three billion dollars have already been paid out to survivors, plus some money was used to research these graves. Back in 2019, a Catholic archdiocese gave $70,000 to a reserve so they could identify unmarked graves and restore the site.

These gravesites were brought up just to stir the pot before Canada Day (July 1st).

Now that they mention it, all those old horror stories could really be enhanced by the upgrade from houses built over ancient Indian burial grounds to houses built over ancient Indian mass graves.
