I view all of it as my body my choice. Vaccines included.
I always utilize the rhetoric of "my body my choice" to fight mandatory vaccines/ vaccine passports.
However I cannot morally support the millions of abortions that young women like the monster in this video commit every year due to their rampant promiscuity.
Abortion in cases of rape and incest are the only pro-abortion argument that I find rational.
Why in rape and incest? What did the child do to deserve the death penalty?
Personally, I'm not opposed to it as a mdeical or eugenic tool. But that's about the line for me. Not as contraception.
First trimester abortions should be allowed, regardless of whether the reason was promiscuity - and do note that it takes two to tango. Third trimester abortions are abominations.
When men can relinquish financial liability, then women can abort.
My wallet, my choice.
What stellar morality, abandoning your own kids.
It's completely absurd to pretend that a fertilized egg is a human being and that terminating it is 'murder'. When you get further along in the development, it becomes more reasonable.
It is a separate organism, which does mean that it's not "your body", but whether or not that organism is deserving of legal protecting depends on its legal of development.
An egg omelette, doesn't make it a chicken omelette.
Bruh just like wait 2 months without doing anything other than eating healthy. Suddenly, it's a person. Truth is, it was a person the whole time.
If a man kills a pregnant woman by dangerous driving, he's charged with two deaths by dangerous driving.
It's a life when it can be used against us.
What if you stopped eating healthy.
By that logic, if I wait 80 years while eating healthy, I'll be dead. Truth is, I'll have been dead the whole time. (Suddenly, the nonsense of the past 5 years makes sense.)
And why is it unreasonable? Just because the life is less developed?
Because it's basically indistinguishable from a bacterium, yes.
Like when does something that isn't a human being magically become one? That's absurd.
IMO for most women, their choice was sleeping with someone and having consequences. (And the fathers should be held accountable too.)
There are a few caveats like rape, but let's be real -- it unfortunately happens a lot in life, but it's a disingenuous argument for most given it being a statistical unicorn unless the definition of rape is twisted into regret. I set it aside accordingly.
That coupled with the fact the baby is a separate entity, albeit frequenting the mother's womb temporarily, it is murder to rob it of its life. Is that acceptable? Personally, morally, not really.
(And I don't really buy the wait-until-3rd-trimester argument because I wouldn't eat a fucking chicken egg if it contained something that looked like a human baby does at the end of the 1st trimester.)
Pragmatically though, I'm aligned with onetruephilosoraptor in that I think it's better for these children probability wise to be put out of their misery immediately vs. long-term suffering under unwilling parents.
The only personally acceptable scenario for "acceptable human murder" which doesn't fall into things like choosing between the life of the mother vs. child, etc., is assisted euthanasia. But that's really only due to a lack of physical ability, and is self-directed.
You're not just wrong, you're evil. It's someone else's heartbeat that you are snuffing out.
I'm with you but I think the flippancy applied to it is morally reprehensible
Safe legal rare. Emphasis on rare
