What's more amazing to me is Biden didn't run on anything, while nobody brought up anything he's done for half a century in government. If you can count it, it's "fewer", if you can't, it's "less". Less water wants fewer buckets. Fewer blacks cause less crime. Fewer people, less crowding/fewer crowds.

Their ideology is one that can not exist with positive results. They must remain the victim and remain the aggrieved underdog party in order to survive. The instant their complaint numbers drop, they become obsolete because that is the only reason they stay relevant. They're essentially a complaint generation machine. If the number of complaints drops, so does their legitimacy.
It's no secret that they're propped up politically, so this is likely a tactic. It could just be setting the stage for asshole Joe to step down to let Kamala take over since "she understands" or some such bullshit. Otherwise they'll say the same thing every year, true or not, like any other municipal department that fakes bring underfunded and asks for a bigger budget every year, or else faces a cut for being too good at their jobs or having no real work to do.
It's like they forgot that it was Obama who began the selling of military equipment to major PD. Biden is just continuing the tradition and bringing it to the levels (and above) of the sales under the Obama admin.
