Biden says he’s ‘praying’ for a guilty verdict in Chauvin trial (archive.is)

The President saying he's guilty, a sitting congresswoman threatening, and yet somehow the jurors are supposed to be comfortable they can judge honestly and all these powerful people won't leak their identities to the mob?

I'm not going to lie, I couldn't do it. I would have given crazy answers to get thrown off the jury and after that I'm not sure I can go for anything but guilty knowing that if I hold out for whatever is right they will be coming to burn down and destroy everything I have.

Which should be enough to declare a mistrial for jury tampering...but here we are.

And wouldn't you know it, Biden's prayer has now been answered.

Incidentally this makes him even worse than Woodrow motherfucking Wilson - I don't remember Mr. 'The KKK Writes History With Lightning' publicly praying 'PLEASE GOD SEE TO IT THAT THIS NIGGER SWINGS' and allowing the press to broadcast it far & wide whenever a case involving black people came up back in his day. Hell, unlike the current commander-in-chief, he even had the grace to say this:

I say plainly that every American who takes part in the action of mob or gives it any sort of continence is no true son of this great democracy but its betrayer, and ...[discredits] her by that single disloyalty to her standards of law and of rights.

Can't imagine Biden or worse still, Harris saying anything like that about Chauvin or any other victim of blakkk violence these days.

Same thing during Ferguson, Obama had condemned the cop without a verdict.

DEMOCRATS DO NOT CARE ABOUT FAIRNESS UNDER THE LAW

They don't care about the law - it's objective, or supposed to be, it's completely contrary to their objectives...

And Zimmerman.

"If he was my son"/"He could have been my son" or whatever it was he actually said when referring to Treyvon.

All I can say is WTF. This basically takes Obama's "that could have been my son" remarks and cranks them up. And his excuse is "well the jurors are sequestered now so it's ok", as if he didn't just essentially sanction any riots and destruction from anything but a guilty verdict. And that useless muppet of a press secretary just repeats the same shit without actually saying anything. This is infuriating.

Psaki denied that Biden was “weighing in on the verdict” and said she would not “provide additional analysis on what he meant.” She also maintained that Biden“certainly is not looking to influence” the trial’s outcome.

“He was conveying what many people are feeling across the country, which is compassion for the family … [and] what a difficult time this is for many Americans across the country who have been watching this trial very closely,” Psaki said.

“The jury is sequestered,” she added. “That is different from where things stood just yesterday. And he noted that in his comments, as well.”

Horsehit

“Biden“certainly is not looking to influence” the trial’s outcome.”

Then he should have kept his drool reservoir shut

He was conveying what many people are feeling across the country, which is compassion for the family

This is what liberals call gaslighting. “Don’t believe your lying ears.”

If he wanted to show compassion he would simply tell the family he’s sorry for their loss. There is no “compassion” in what he said, only politics.

When he is found guilty they will riot. When he and his lawyers sue for a mistrial because there is no way the media hinting about who and where the jury lives and government officials sharing their opinions on whether he is guilty or not they will riot again.

I can only hope and pray that that's true. There better be a reckoning for all this bullshit and the more thorough it is, the more glorious and the better it will be for future generations.

It's looking true. A few days ago, I posted a comment that it's looking like we are just going to be choosing which flavor of authoritarianism we want. Choose right and the freaks lose. Choose left and the decent people lose (first, then everyone else loses).

Correct, but the media has been hinting at the composition of the jury as in the number of men and women, cbs had a vid where they discussed what neighborhood a juror lived in. All things that should not be public knowledge so jurors can’t not be threatened or coerced to vote a certain way. On top of the politicians politicizing this case, or sharing their opinions on if they think he is guilty or not, there is no way this could be called a fair or speedy trial

It would result in a hung jury meaning that the state would have to bring the case to trial again at a later date and we'll be doing the same thing next year...
