In before u/TheImpossible1 attacks the source (it's written by a woman): Attack the message, not the messenger. Each of these cases is sourced.
As long as there aren't serious repercussions for lying about rape and sexual assault it's hard to take any public accusation or declaration seriously.
Well I could attack the source for being written by a woman on an MRA site, but I know that those people irrationally believe women are their allies despite this belief being the core of why they keep failing to make any progress that isn't purely symbolic.
Eh? Janet Bloomfield and the Honey Badgers have been longtime MRAs and have consistently been MRAs for as long as I know. They haven't changed their views for a long time and have consistently defended Men's Rights.
They're a rare group of "NAWALT"s (Not All Women Are Like That). They know gynocentrism is real and that men have unfairly been denigrated in modern society and media. They also understand they hold "privileged" positions in society because of the left and they want to use that "privilege" as a means to defend men and advocate for men's rights.
Like, I get what you mean, a lot of so-called anti-SJW type of women who claim they're for men are unwilling to understand things like gynocentrism and whatnot, but the female MRAs are like the last group of people to attack - much like Ron Paul their ideology has been very consistent and hasn't changed all that much.
There's already strong sentencing guidelines for pedophilia but everyone has a story about them getting away with that
Everyone has a story about being a pedophile, and getting away with it before a court?
Also: I didn't say that there's something to change it. I said: As long as there aren't serious repercussions (not the threat of repercussions, not some law that says it's a bad no-no, but real tangible serious repercussions) for lying about rape it's hard to take any of these public accusations even somewhat serious.
Rape now means (a female or xir) regretting sleeping with someone.
or regretting not sleeping with someone
or being talked to by someone they don't like
or not getting a job
or not wanting to pay their taxi fair
or not wanting to lose their boyfriend they cheated on
or any other reason you can think of: https://avoiceformen.com/featured/13-women-who-lied-about-being-raped-and-why-they-did-it/

Correction:
A woman. Not women. A woman. An individual.
