Since this me-me-also-me crew — led by laughables like Rep. MATT GAETZ (R-Fla.), who seems to live in a permanent state of inaccuracy and way too much hair gel — seems to be persistently unable to read the room, allow me.
How can you call someone else laughable when you're writing stuff like this? If I'd put a statement like this on a paper in... god, in fucking high school I would have been chastised by my teachers. But today, you can publish this at a supposedly reputable outlet?
I didn't think they'd go this hard this fast, but I'm glad I was wrong. They just stole an election in which the "loser" received the most votes in history. If you think that's the right time to spike the football and dance, by all means - fuck around and find out.
Along this same line, the new round of approval polling has come out, and after an absolute balls-to-the-wall propaganda and demoralization blitz, the result was.....Trumps popularity is still locked in the high 40's. It didnt budge. Other polling has also found that a lot of people are just getting angry instead of backing down. I am sure stats like that play no small part in why the establishment is turning DC into a goddamn fortress right now.
But the only method they know is double down, so they will continue to push forward and becoming increasingly paranoid about every shadow going forward.
