Fuck celebrities in general. We need to go back to how the Romans used to view actors.
Actors throughout history have been considered lower class, even often associated with prostitutes. This is true not only in the West, but also in the East.
For example, the Empress Theodora was an actress and prostitute before marrying Justinian, and her history was used against her by political enemies.
In Japan, the Kabuki performers were also often available as prostitutes to patrons.
Given the association between prostitutes and actors it would make sense that actors were looked down upon by more cultured society.
It doesn't even have to be a "view," there's still plenty of evidence of Hollywood itself being a prostitution ring, with actors selling their dignity and bodies for money and fame.
And most of them would be homeless and dead were it not for the millions of dollars and constant rehab. Heck even with all of that they still die more often than the average joe.
Yeah I'm totally going to take advice on who to vote for from someone with 15 DUI's, and who spent more on rehab in the last 5 years than my house costs.

I kinda concur, some or many of the mods and members there are Controlled Opposition to put it in layman's terms but on the Trump vs Biden election megathread I (a non-American FYI) was also called out for pointing out the - admittedly very very optimistic - chance that if Biden were to lose fair and square and Trump will win again that it might start the Redemption Arc of the modern Left. This was before I heard of the various """accidents""" and """rumours""" of fraud or sabotage involving the election.
That thread was and is full of tragic realism on the modern state of the Left and I was called out for being so optimistic and I had to emphasize that any hypothetical redemption arc would only come after various losses and humiliations, which if why I as an outsider am rooting for le Orange Man, so that the Left suffers, seethes, doubles or triples down on everything and then either is dismantled from power bit by bit or that bit by bit the "reasonable" ones actually take control instead of allowing themselves to be herded like cattle.
