“We must have gotten obliterated by Hispanics
I assumed worst case was +15
defund the police killed us
We came out strong for BLM and then saw the hispanic push back and went lukewarm and got killed with both demos” says top Miami Dem, citing a BLM backlash
Yep. Deplatforming is denying third-party platforms to "unacceptable" persons.
Trying to get social media to apply their content rules fairly, regardless of skin color or politics, is not deplatforming, and is the basis of Section 230 reform.

It's amazing how the God Emperor brings out the best in people, or exposes them at their worst. For example, this is Glenn Greenwald in 2006:

"Gatekeeping has become prominent in the discussion of fandom and especially the anime community as of late, with many fans arguing over who deserves and who doesn't deserve to be an anime fan. Is it good? Is it bad? Or is the discussion far more nuanced than just that?"
Hey, remember when you folks are siding with June because she's a "based feminist"?
You mean, never?
I'm sure shitting over everyone else and painting other people with an overly broad brush is totally a winning strategy for you.
She sided with us over a few things, which was cool. If she's going to run away from that, then I have no attachment to her anymore. As it is, she took a steaming dump all over Cuties, so I won't unsubscribe from her, even though she's an anti-capitalist Sanders fan.

These ANTIFA and BLM people, especially the ones who just jumped on the bandwagon ‘yesterday’ because they became ‘woke’ (insert eye roll here), do not deserve a second glance or thought from us. Our little pinky toenails have more character, morals, and ethics, than these punks have in their entire body,” the email read.
Do not stop to their level. Do not respond to them. If we do, we only validate what they did. Don’t make them important, because they are not. They will be the ones washing our cars, cashing us out at the Walmart, or living in their parents’ basement playing COD [‘Call of Duty’] for their entire life.
That's it. This is now what they can get you fired for.
Churchill was never a populist, he was a patriotic elitist. He got kicked right out of office the moment the war was over. Read William Manchester's biography of Churchill to see how true this was.
FDR got elected on a wave of populism, but he was anything but. Gore Vidal said something about this:
Gore Vidal, in his memoir, noted that [Norman] Mailer majored in engineering and said: “I have a theory that the mind of an engineer, though well suited for many things, is ill suited for either literature or politics.” Vidal said that the engineer seeks to have all things converge or yoke together, “while the natural writer or politician knows, instinctively, that nothing ever really connects except in what we imagine science to be.” Vidal said that “Literature . . . requires a divergent mind.” However, engineers such as Mailer and Solzhenitsyn have convergent minds. Vidal compared F.D.R.’s “inspired patternless arabesques as a politician, artfully dodging this way and that, to the painstaking engineer Jimmy Carter, doggedly trying to make it all add up, and failing.”
About the only thing FDR ever stood up for was Communists. He loved those people.

Are you truly incapable of seeing the Marxism seeping from every word, aside from the timestamp and view count?
Let's start with definitions. The Holocaust/Shoah is called that not because Germany defeated Poland and invaded western Russia. The Jews in the Polish Army who died fighting Nazi Germany and Soviet Russia are not part of the Holocaust. The millions who were starved and shot in the KZs are. A military defeat can be humiliating, frustrating, etc., but it's not until you go on to slaughter the women and children that it becomes genocide. Even the Diaspora, Rome's expulsion of the Jews and elimination of the Kingdom of Judea, isn't a genocide.
Likewise, the Romans didn't do anything to the Gauls that the Gauls weren't doing to themselves. The Gauls took slaves as war captives. So did the Romans. Also, Rome moved into Gaul when friendly (which usually meant, more civilized) Gallic tribes were under attack from more primitive and aggressive Gallic tribes, who themselves were being pushed west by the even more aggressive incoming Germanic tribes.
Is Carlin a Marxist? He probably doesn't think of himself as one. He just uses this language he hears all the time to "speak truth to power," even though he's completely ignorant as to who has been taking victory laps in America for the last 50 years.
Clearly, making an argument that the pig symbolizes "lost" civilization to a Jewish teacher was a huge mistake.
/s
Also, it's been 35 years since I read LotF, but I'm pretty sure the pig carries meanings of primitivism, not civilization but hunter-gatherers, a time when man was completely dependent on a world of plants and animals he could not control or even influence much, the degeneration of bits of Bible study into animism, totem and taboo, and ritual sacrifice.
Aside from not understanding how market economies work (from the 1930s to the '50s, an awful gap, to be sure), Franco and Salazar did nothing wrong.
Well, that's not true. According to Anthony Beevor, the Spanish anarchists would enter a city and slaughter "enemies of the people" en masse. The Communists would enter a city and immediately suborn it to the Staliinst COMINTERN. The Nationalists did this:
WHAT. THE. HELL?
It is stupidity like this, these unforced errors, that has been slowly killing the Right.
