Belarus is a puppet state of Russia. Lukaschenko doesn’t take a shit without informing Putin about it.

krzyzowiec 5 points ago +6 / -1

Uh, but this is what they are doing. Putin controls Lukashenko. He is not only allowing him to throw migrants at Poland’s border, he’s even throwing in air support.

How did the migrants get from the Middle East and Africa to Belarus? They obviously had to be imported somehow. Why are Belarusian guards pushing them towards Poland’s border?

Or I could just shoot them? I mean have fun destroying our society I guess. I can't stop you myself, but I will certainly kill someone who is trying to break into my house and rape.

It tells you a lot about their mentality though. If you don't bribe someone, then your rape is inevitable because you have no ability to protect yourself lol.

I’m with Torba. The solution cannot be political when you have no real representation. We have to build the parallel Christian society, and then when they attempt to destroy it with the law, you will have to be ready to secede.

It wasn't his decision. He listened to what conservatives were asking for on talk radio for years before even running. That's just how he operates. That's why he had rallies and asked people who they wanted. He was polling the crowd.

Now you can say he shouldn't do that, but I don't see why not. All he wanted to do was deliver for the voters. To give them what they wanted. The thing people complain about most in politics are that politicians aren't trustworthy and don't do what they are elected to do, so to sit here and complain when he actually listens and does what his voters want sounds retarded to me.

He literally asked a crowd of people whether the nominee should be a man or a woman. When the crowd at the rally cheered for woman, he called the men in the group cowards, but he picked a woman obviously.

If you want to blame someone, it should be Trump voters, because that is who he listened to.

Holy shit are you serious? These retards are letting girls play football against boys? Normally I find this stuff wrong yet funny, but people are going to get hurt badly doing things like this.

It’s pretty fucking sad. They apparently tried to patch it and failed. It’s technically not even code, because they are using HTML lol.

I don’t understand why you wouldn’t just filter it out on the client. It’s not hard to detect something that’s designed to be parsed.

krzyzowiec 5 points ago +7 / -2

No, I don’t hate you. It’s a personal decision, and everyone has different priorities in life. People who submit do make it harder for those trying to resist, but you aren’t forcing it on others.

The condition of history has never been different, always distorted by human interests. The only difference today is the speed at which information can travel, and that will not disappear, no matter the wish of the tyrants.

I just finished Book 4, God Emperor of Dune. I liked the first two much better than the third or fourth, as they were a lot more centered around family, sacrifice, honor, loss; themes that anyone can relate to. I can see what you mean about inspiration and I agree. Book 3 is where it starts to get derailed imo, drifting more into abstract philosophical ideas around humanity, history, government, and especially religion, and it comes off as a lot more intellectual than spiritual. It has its interesting moments, but I was not as invested in the characters as I was in the first two books with the personal stories of Jessica, Leto Atreides, Paul Atreides, the Reverend Mother, Stilgar, Duncan Idaho, the Emperor, the Baron, etc. I've got two more to go though, and I will finish it because I don't like to leave things undone. :)

Nice, I loved LOTR. May try reading it again as it's been a while. Yeah now that we're entering dark times I feel like everyone is intuitively preparing in their own way to survive. I will never step into a hospital again if I can avoid it.

What was your impression of Dune by the end?

2
krzyzowiec 2 points ago +2 / -0

That's a good one. I like this from Paul,

For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect.

For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.

For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.

Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world?

For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.

For the Jews require a sign, and the Greeks seek after wisdom:

But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness;

But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.

Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men.

For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called:

But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;

And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are:

That no flesh should glory in his presence.

But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:

That, according as it is written, He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord. - 1 Corinthians 1:17-31

Sometimes I'll watch something old out of nostalgia, but it reminds me of how little good content there is now so it's a double edged sword. I haven't done it in a while.

I'm actually more into reality than fantasy atm. Maybe because I'm older, or maybe because reality is so surreal, who knows? The only fantasy thing I'm reading right now is Dune, since I was always curious about its popularity and they made that new movie about it. It's a weird story written by a somewhat degenerate lefty who seems to pine for a lost age where men were tougher. At least that is my impression by book 4, but I can see why people like it. It is thought provoking, and would be more so if I were younger and not a Christian already who has awareness of how weak our society is.

Nowadays I like to watch JLP for entertainment. He's the funniest guy I've ever seen, and it seems to be effortless to him. Outside of that, I'm doing productive things instead, like reading about nutrition and studying programming. I'm beginning to understand that men should be learning and building things. Our society is focused on sensations, base pleasure seeking and status. It might sound strange, but I think it's an intentional trap to keep young men hopeless and distracted in order to enrich older men who already occupy positions of power. They don't want us to notice that we can compete and even destroy the existing systems, or that they are erecting as many legal barriers as possible to slow us down. Anything to try and keep that cycle of destruction and renewal at bay.

I grew up in the 90s too. Loved Fresh Prince and Family Matters. Carlton, his dad, and Will Smith were amazing characters.

I can’t watch anything with black people in it now because it will inevitably be preachy. The “minority” has to either be perfect, or a victim. What about a flawed human you can actually relate to? Only the rare good shows, usually with an all or mostly white cast, still do it.

The last thing I saw with black people in it that had any real depth was Firefly. I gave up and don’t watch TV anymore though.

The irony is that God is simple. His ways are hardest to understand for the intellectuals.

7
krzyzowiec 7 points ago +7 / -0

Exactly. They only speak of morality because they recognize the power in it. They don’t believe in anything, they only use what tools they can find to serve their master Satan in his destruction of the good.

They have no real awareness of what they are doing, and they do not have the slightest curiosity to find out.

6
krzyzowiec 6 points ago +6 / -0

It’s more that they only value power. They frame it in moral terms because they know how powerful morality is, but they are too cynical to truly believe in it.

krzyzowiec 2 points ago +2 / -0

Yes but what is compassion? To me it is telling people the truth and standing against them if they do wrong. People can't help their evil. If we who call ourselves children of God have overcome, then it is our job to rebuke them and set them straight. They may not even take the straight path, but it could open the eyes of others who see it.

I was only trying to warn against the common mistake people make in equating evil and good, just because we all have sinned.

Can we deport her with him?

5
krzyzowiec 5 points ago +5 / -0

Sounds more like a slut with regret. How did she even meet this Afghan? Unless he snatched her off the street, going to his place was a decision.

krzyzowiec 10 points ago +10 / -0

This story actually made me sympathetic to the Afghans… I don’t see how you can call rape after following a stranger back to his apartment from a bar.

We’re operating under retarded female notions of rape.

No to revisionism of World War II

The West are not the only ones capable of hypocrisy then. Are they still teaching in Russian schools that the Soviets were the “liberators” of Poland?

He makes good points in other areas, but people desperate for leaders tend to view him as some kind of rational savior.

Never ever make a man your leader.
