Gaia theory itself is actually kind of a fascinating concept, and ironically flies in the face of everything the climate fanatics stand for.
This chick, however, sounds like your average hairy-armpitted ideologically-driven diversity hire 'scientist' representing everything wrong with tertiary education.
The funniest ad for me was the women's national rugby league. Women's rugby player narrating what an amazing experience it is to play with all Australia watching, then it cuts to live footage of their games and 80% of the stadium is empty seats.
Seems there's a concerted global effort to push women's sports. Every other ad break here in Australia pushes the women's rugby league. News corporations run women's World Cup news daily, not even referring to it as the women's World Cup, but simply the World Cup.
Cat sims are quite a niche; I guess it might just be worth giving Stray a go. It looks like you can get a refund within two weeks with less than 2 hours of play time.
So if it doesn't run on your system or you don't enjoy it, nothing lost.
From what I've seen it's barely a game; more like a walking simulator where you play as a cat.
Worth a Buy did a decent review a while back: https://youtu.be/aqoZWIHtcAc
The way I see it, if AI and CGI replaced writers and actors, we'd simply end up with an endless onslaught of soulless corporate drivel somehow worse than what Hollywood churns out now.
With that being the case, I reckon we'll see a resurgence in true independent cinema from people with an actual passion for the process.
Manufacturing jobs disappear because of automation: silence.
Mining jobs disappear because of muh environment: silence.
Writing jobs at risk from AI: also a fair bit of silence.
It's not until the rich and famous are at risk of losing their careers that people start to take notice.
Hollywood's best days are behind it, and the 'stars' now are effectively NPCs anyway so nothing of value will be lost.
From the look of things they're positioning it as a replacement or supplement to a laptop. It has the same processor as their updated Mac line, with a co-processor for all the tracking gubbins.
So you were right on; it's a MacGoggle.
You know what it reminds me of? Remember that scene in Jurassic Park where Lexi 'hacks' the computer system by navigating through a cinema-friendly visual representation of what is basically a computer's file system?
This is the Apple version.
Definitely makes sense they'd have you tethered to other Apple devices. Somewhat ironic having a FaceTime call while your face is obscured, but then this is company that enabled you to use FaceID while wearing a mask and habitually churns out new diverse and inclusive emojis featuring hijabs, niqabs, etc.
How silly of me to assume that an understanding of the Bible and its teachings would be a prerequisite for becoming a clergyman.
