Haven't you heard of the Australian-American war? It was the biggest one since the big one. We sent kangaroos strapped with bombs :D

(Man, I love Chatterbox on GTA3)

I tried watching it the other day...I made it about half an hour before turning it off. <sigh> I love classic Looney Tunes...I think I should just stick to Classic Looney Tunes.

Well, Sydney is under lockdown...again. Lockdown extended until the end of August. And the typical lefties on my Facebook are blaming the protest. Never mind the fact that the government were openly telling them before the protests that this shit could extend until Christmas...almost like that was the PLAN all along. But no, it's the fault of those protestors standing up for their rights.....

Then you have Gladys openly telling people today that there will be more police out on the street...again, read between the lines and it might as well be saying "you now live under Marshall Law" without saying it.

This country is so fucking screwed and the ignorant masses are just letting it happen! Yeah, I'm pissed! I'm pissed! I'm feeling like there is no hope. My only hope is people head to the streets again and keep doing it for the next four weeks...but I can't say that, because it's a THOUGHT CRIME and I wouldn't want the Nazi Gestapo (aka NSW Police) to show up on my door step for venting.

Sorry, this shit is getting to me pretty badly and I really do feel like we're legitimately screwed.

I don't know....it's not that it looks bad it's more so that it looks...bland. Or I guess derivative is the better word. It just looks like its cashing in on Stranger Things and IT by making that type of film again. Where it's a group of outcast kids fighting a paranormal force...I've seen that a lot lately. Like I said, didn't look bad, but it almost looked like it was taking itself too seriously. It's fucking Ghostbusters? Where's the humor?

Again, I'm not ragging on it and anything is better than that 2016 version...but yeah, I wasn't overly wowed by it either. It was just that feeling "oh its that type of movie...again."

Yeah, I know. I wasn't a fan either of Jay and Bob Reboot....I enjoyed the first one as dopey dumb road comedy (not high art but I got a few laughs out of it) but the sequel? Fucking hell it was rough sitting through that thing. Much like he insisted pushing his talent less gold digging man hating wife on us, now he has to push his equally talent less daughter on us.

Clerks II had its moments, but I really DON'T need a Clerks III...he pushed it with II and just barely got away with it...But I don't think I need to see those guys a third time...especially when he's basically just rehashing the plot of Zack and Miri Make a Porno with it.

Apparently the plot is Randal has a heart attack and survives but realizes he hasn't done anything with his life so he decides to make a movie at the store...gee! Because you didn't already try to turn the Clerks documentary into a fictional movie with Zack and Miri already, did ya Kevin?

In some ways, he should just stick to podcasting. He can be entertaining telling stories...I mean the old Evening With Kevin Smith DVD's were great when he was openly dishing on Hollywood. But yeah, even then, his podcasts have become pretty banal.

I know it sounds mean...but I think I preferred Pre-Weed Pre Crybaby Kevin Smith over what he has become. I'm sure he is a good dude at heart and I don't wish ill on him, but I really much preferred pre-weed KS over post-weed KS.

I don't necessarily mind Mallrats. It has its flaws but Jason Lee mostly makes up for them. And it has a pretty decent soundtrack.

I like Clerks well enough but yeah, it's not really satirical genius in its content like some of its critics would have you believe. I like Chasing Amy as well for it being an examination of male insecurity...even Dogma had its moments...but everything else by Smith really doesn't hold up at all.

I would argue he used to be funny and likable, but as the years passed, he became a bit more of a douche to me.

The problem with Smith is that he is an insecure man-child who wanted to be accepted and liked by everyone around him. He loves getting critical praise, but the moment you shit on his work, you'll see his insecurities at play. He can't handle negative criticism...he never has been able to. When critics trashed Mallrats, he played to them and quickly denounced it back in the day. He re-embraced it years later when he realized there was an audience that liked it, but yeah, at the time he tried everything to get back into the good graces of critics because he couldn't take the bad word.

Same thing happened with Cop Out and every other failure he has made...it's the story of a guy who so desperately wants to be embraced and accepted but can't take the heat of criticism against him. That is Smith's biggest flaw...he's very insecure and just wants to be loved and embrace but can't take the heat when that doesn't happen.

Hence this debacle...I think he purposely played to the critics knowing full well he'd get their praise because that's really what he has always been about...he wants to be accepted into that bubble.

Try living in Australia right now...it hasn't fucking left.

Although I am proud that there were 30/40k marching in Sydney today to protest these lockdowns. Sort of makes me proud.

Okay, so what about those feminine types that come from Japanese games that we all know and love? Tifa, anyone? Feminine as all hell and beloved by so many.

Hell, I play a lot of Tekken online and my main in Tekken is fucking Xiaoyu. Very girly girl yet very fucking kick ass to play.

Meanwhile, there was this game that came last year that forced you to play as a buff she-male type...I never finished it....couldn't stand the character, didn't want to be forced to play as her. What was it called? I think it was like The Last of Something ;) Definitely a Part 2 ;)

This is so fucking dumb. And they consider the likes of my type sexist?

Tekken 7...honestly, I'm tired of long cut scenes followed by short gameplay segments. I miss the thrill of just playing a game and not being bombarded by an overlong sequence of cut scenes...so Tekken 7 online has been great for that.

I'm sure I will go back to something story based/single player based at some point, but yeah, just a bit over games with long cut scenes and long story telling in general.

At this point, this shit could go on for months...leading up to Christmas. Hell, even if we do come out of lockdown before then, I still think come Christmas we'll back in whether we like it or not. Much like last year shut us down.

Funny this shit keeps reappearing every holiday season mind you. Also, what season are we in right now? Winter. Flu season...makes you wonder if they're purposely misrepresenting the common flu for COVID to keep drumming up the fear and division. And the need for the vaccine, because lets face it, that's what this is all about...their push for the vaccine they all want us to take.

Okay, maybe I'm getting all tin foil here but seriously, I'm so over this shit in general. Less than 1000 cases and we shut down three states?

In all honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if we're in lockdown for the next month or so...I can't see it going to Christmas...but I do think if we come out of it before Christmas, we will be right back in around Christmas yet again like last year. I'm calling it.

Yeah I hear ya. I lost my job last year to this shit. Thankfully I got another job in Regional NSW and had to make the move last year to accommodate it. So I got out of Sydney just after it first hit.

I haven't seen my family since Christmas. Haven't seen my friends in a year. Thankfully I do live out in Regional NSW so we don't have it too bad (yet) but last year I was in Sydney for the first wave and it was bad then and I can only imagine what it's like now.

I told my parents last year to pack it up and get up to where I was going...they should have listened. I will say where I am now is easier than dealing with Sydney, but at the same time, I fear it won't be long before a case works its way to where we are (just conveniently)...I do wonder how long it will be.

I got out last year and got to regional NSW...it's been a little better where I am as most people around here tend to ignore the mainscheme media. So that is one thing I guess.

I feel ya, man. I worry about my folks too and my grandmother just had a heart attack last month before this shit started up again so I totally feel ya. I don't want to say it but if something should happen then it worries me as a whole.

You're right about this country having no backbone, we rely on everyone else and the truth is we're fucked and can't stand on our own two feet. But I suppose this is the NWO plan and we're just casually fall into line before anyone realizes what even happened.

But what can we do? Protest? Ha, yeah right! Unless you're BLM or some other lefty shit then good luck with that. It's amazing to me how the virus can be SO selective? ;)

Also its amazing, if this really was an epidemic then why wasn't the streets filled with dead homeless people when it first broke out? If it was so deadly and so contagious, why the fuck aren't the streets lined with dead homeless people? No disrespect to the poor saps out on the street intended, but yeah, all this hysteria for a virus that has killed what? 915 people...that's nothing when you consider that roughly 170,000 people die annually in this country.

I'm just so over the hysterics...I'm over the brain washing...I'm over being painted as a bad guy whenever you point out simple facts because everyone is so afraid of having their fee fees hurt. Soft times created a bunch of wimps.

This shit has gotten ridiculous. People have become so fucking pampered and brain dead that they're willing to overlook simple fact and buy into whatever the newscaster tells them.

It's funny...I overheard something at my doctors today. I have to go for routine check up for reasons I won't disclose (nothing life threatening mind you)...one of the locals was talking to the receptionist about the vaccine and asking the receptionist if she was going to get it. In a hush voice, she shook her head no. When the lady asked her "why?" She mentioned "if you knew what we knew then you wouldn't want it either. None of us here want it."

Mind you, my doctor went on to tell me he was fully vaxxed...which just leaves me even more skeptical to this shit.

Anyways...this is me ranting...I just needed to get it all off my chest...I'm with you...fuck this god damn spineless country of ours.

I hear ya, mate. I hear ya. This country is in the fucking shit hole and it staggers me how willingly compliant people are too it. My friends are praising this shit as their liberties slowly keep getting taken from them.

Our government is fucking fucked. Every day feels like its getting worse. I've been fighting for a reason to live but what is the point when they keep taking everything away from us?

This shit hole government of ours can get fucked. The people of this country need to wake the fuck up...but the pessimist in me feels it's not gonna happen and this shit is gonna get worse before it gets better.
