I'm worried about this for obvious reasons, but I'll be damned if the trailer, and the director's breakdown of said trailer, don't make me a bit optimistic. The fact that the director is Reitman's son is also a good sign. Again, I'm worried because I know how Hollyweird likes to shit up old franchises, but I'm cautiously optimistic. Anyone else have hopes or concerns?

I don't know....it's not that it looks bad it's more so that it looks...bland. Or I guess derivative is the better word. It just looks like its cashing in on Stranger Things and IT by making that type of film again. Where it's a group of outcast kids fighting a paranormal force...I've seen that a lot lately. Like I said, didn't look bad, but it almost looked like it was taking itself too seriously. It's fucking Ghostbusters? Where's the humor?
Again, I'm not ragging on it and anything is better than that 2016 version...but yeah, I wasn't overly wowed by it either. It was just that feeling "oh its that type of movie...again."
