We better shoot all the raccoons. After all their name is racist. That tail too, are they saying that black should be next to lighter colors? I mean they are literally Hitler.

I thought about checking that out again. I played on Xbox though and I'm not interested in moving to desk gaming (i.e. without a controller). I can't remember the exact map but I loved the night conquest. The darkness just added another level of fun for me.

On top of total agreement, I'll add that I'm just totally sick of the total push of these degenerate whores. Spend some time with a teen that you aren't the parents of. I game with my cousin and I swear the amount of times I have to tell him to chill because he will start singing some shit "cocks in my coochie" or "my pussy all wet" like what the hell. He's barely a teenager. I get it there was a ton of gross shit I'd never want to admit when I was a teen boy but it seems so much worse. Kick all of this shit out. I just want to shoot some other soldier-looking soldiers.

CoD sucks, I've tried Warzone. Awful. It's just not fun. If you can find a game in the damn menus through all the ads and crap. Last one I bought was Black Ops 4, and that was strike three for CoD games, and I had multiple CoD with the highest prestige level in the early 2010s.

Even if I was offered the choice of a truly 100 percent effective mask or getting sick with the same respiratory illnesses I have in the last 5 years, I'm choosing the illnesses. I don't want that thing on my face and it's as simple as that. I had original alpha covid too. It wasn't that bad. I'm not old and I'm not obese. Old people have to die sometime and obese people got there by choice

I agree with that and that's why if I were to restructure education it would be pushed down quite a bit, where pre-teens all learn the basic requirements to exist, i.e. read/write, arithmetic, history, government and such. I'd take most of this out of schools entirely. Teenagers on it gets more and more specialized such that an accountant is not learning geometry and an engineer is not learning creative writing. Stringent barriers for entry though in a lot of things. We can't have everyone in a coddle-fest.

Programming would never lose math though, because I'd never want to hire one for a game that couldn't tell me how to get the speed of an object beyond "playerspeed = object.speed;". Be able to break it down at least a few layers even if you don't have to do it in practice, because that way I know you'd understand. I'd probably never be in a position to hire programmers anyway though, because I'd want to throw stuff at Javascript framework monkeys.

I meant to mention vectors and 3D coordinates but forgot. That's something I struggled to grasp for a while until it just clicked. I would also put a basic understanding of computing into education. Do I really expect them to be able to configure an http server in a Linux command line? No. Might I teach that as a school exercise? Yes. I wouldn't test for it but I might test for basic command line things or some simple configuration type things.

I would budge on trig though, which I lump Pythagoras in to because in the end it's still just triangle math. It's very useful in 2D games where in a ton of cases you wouldn't bother with much more complicated math because a couple square roots is a ton fewer cycles. For example if you're wanting to get a the player velocity from a 2D movement vector. It's also how 3D works. There's a reason everything is triangles. Raycasting is in a lot of ways applied trigonometry. Outside of computers, engineers use it, surveyors are basically just trig calculators. I'm sure I could come up with more.

Blender artist of course is not going to use it. An engine programmer is not going to survive without it. I'm not trying to shit on things and a there's a ton of success that can be had without it. I've not touched trig working on my game in an existing engine yet. Someone has to create that engine though, and in this case I'm being asked to provide a paper that says someone is qualified to be a programmer.

Upper level education has always been just a paper indicating you are qualified for work. It's been bastardized by tons of unnecessary requirements, sure. Teachers also suck in a lot of cases. There were many times I had to take it upon myself to learn on my own. I'd say that should be fixed, but I'm not sure I have a solution either. Maybe they could quit worrying about their rainbow alphabet but even before that teachers sucked.

The Pythagorean theorem is an awful example though. If you asked me to present someone with a piece of paper indicating they are qualified for a ton of technical jobs, including programming, a basic understanding of trigonometry is a must. Yeah, sure, it might not get used in everything, but anything 3D is going to use it, and I'm not being asked to present someone with a certificate that they are good to work on a single specific programming project.

Not being familiar with UK testing, I looked up what's on the Maths test. It's pretty basic. Are we really suggesting degrading education to require less than this to pass? If it's not needed in the job then maybe the job shouldn't require passing of it.

Anyone left who wonders how people willingly supported the Nazis, just look at this. If my choices are to encourage preschool kids into sex chambers or someone who is openly calling out such degeneracy and going to put an end to it. Well, I know who I'm choosing. Even if they are literally Hitler.

If there are not enough educational staff to ensure compliance with the rules, there may be restrictions on play, e.g. children are not allowed to go naked.

All I see from this sentence is there will be pedos watching. I bet there's an extra sex room where the pedos can go watch the kids on camera and do their own "sexual exploration".

It sounds bad to think about, but I'm not sure I'd ever be on the losing side if homo rallies starting getting attended by trucks of peace.

Explain Africa then. How does a continent of people who have greater mental, physical, and spiritual abilities not have ONE successful country? They have people, they have natural resources, and yet the last time Africa was a world leader at anything was ancient Egypt.

I totally forgot about Mario 3D All-Stars, mainly because I just don't like Mario games. That's the best and most simple example of Nintendo's anti-consumer practices. I'm totally fine if they stick to their prices on games and don't go on sale every other week after launch like Ubisoft does. But a time limited release on a digital platform is just absolutely absurd. Limited physical release? Ok whatever I mean all physical releases are limited. Remove from a digital shop that is still active on the current-model platform? Asinine. The other reason to do that is to give an intentional middle finger to your customers.

Yeah, I liked 3, but it was very much boosted by being something to do in a time when I was bored with everything. I also didn't play it early on when it was a mess.

I'd just totally moved on by then and I think a lot of the vanilla players had. Everything got too fast and grindy to me. Rush through get your loot badges and leave. That comes from someone who leveled in vanilla for the most part. I was the weird freak that liked the BRD dungeon crawl, outside of a few things like trash respawns and crazy corpse walks. I didn't even raid that much in Wrath, not like I did in BC. I quit and came back a few times and quit for good midway through Cataclysm.

I’d say Overwatch was their last successful product. Unless you want to argue Diablo 4 is. So they are coming up on 10 years with nothing but garbage money grabs. I was a WoW nut too, and as far as I’m concerned that game died with the Lich King.

I don’t even go as far to say I hate Nintendo, but they are one place I break my own rules. My general rule is I pirate nothing that’s still available from the developer. Paying a recurring fee to play a tiny handful of old games the rare times I want to is a no go. I’m pretty sure I owned all of them on the Wii eShop before too. Charge $5 a piece and I’d have spent my $30-40 and bought everything I wanted. I might have bought a few more even. Since it’s recurring fee, I hacked my Switch instead and have nice little icons for the games I wanted and don’t have to wade through a bad menu for an old console. Problem solved.

If I get a cut of the profits, then Star Wars easily. Disney sacrificed a huge cash cow at the altar of woke there. I was also in to it as a kid, albeit aside from turning on one of the old movies every few years I don’t pay attention anymore.

Save states too. Being able to drop a game whenever should really be a feature in any and every game. I don't care if someone else chooses to save scum a certain difficulty, they chose to do that, not me.

I used to like collecting. Sort of got out of that in the last few years and sold off a ton of it. Had already lost interest, wanted to clear some space anyway, and game prices were going crazy at the time. Selling everything off bought me my entire gaming PC and my Switch with most of the games I have, so, wasn't a bad deal.

Yeah that's what I learned. The GBA was really an attempt to see if I was missing out on something. Bottom line is if I'm in a handheld environment I just don't enjoy something where I need to pay attention from a story type perspective. I did like some of the games though, a lot of good old JRPGs and I have a few PSP games I have been meaning to try too.

I've imported discs. I think all of my PS3 ones are from actual discs I owned. Cartridges requiring either a mod or special hardware really just makes it easier to look elsewhere.

I'd be willing to bet the offshore tax shelters are taken advantage of by politicians at a much higher rate than CEOs. CEOs tend to make their money in things like unrealized capital gains value and just ride their net worth without actually technically profiting from it. They are also with companies that tend to employ tons of people. Politicians on the other hand somehow get filthy rich from low paying public service jobs.

Had a GBA that I modded into exactly what I wanted with an Everdrive as well. Turns out I never used it. I'm really just not into handheld gaming. The rare occasions I am I have a Switch and I could mod it. But we are talking single digit hours per year that it gets played handheld. Probably doesn't help that my nostalgia gaming for the 90s goes straight to DOS and not to Mario and Sonic.

Still though if you want something tiny to carry around those little things are fun. I'd probably get a tiny cheap one just to play Tetris, Dr. Mario, and the like on if I had a commute or something where I had to sit passively every day.

Is there seriously zero testing anymore? They could make a voluntary beta testing group, offer them an exclusive cosmetic thing, have them test a week ahead of a patch. Droves would sign up and when you break something so obvious it's in the test group.
