Oh, haha. I think it should be mandatory. Along with customizable private server support for multiplayer games.

They should be able to fix anything caused by a Cronus out of game, they don't have any feedback coming back from the console, it's just a programmable input adapter. If jittering the aim around is actually helping (I have my doubts), the game should be able to fix that.

I actually used to have a Cronusmax when I was into older consoles. They can be quite useful to keep from having to use licensed controllers that are hard to find or for creative remapping of games with old irritating control schemes, inverted stick axes, making you look left/right with buttons, etc. I scripted a ton of PS1 games into something less irritating and more consistent with what most games use today. It's still just an input processor though, so I suppose you could try to put in some sort of recoil control algorithm to have it automatically counter that, but I don't trust that it would be consistent enough to matter. You could very easily make a "turbo" button for like an automated rapid fire, but games have for the most part stopped that from working too.

Is there an archive? I can't see it looks like it may have been deleted.

You're right I didn't even think of it but most of the stories are like that. At the very least the Tales games offered some beauty in their music, character design, artwork, etc. One of the biggest problems with the modern games are outside of hitting you over the head with it, they are just ugly games in every way.

They don't care, because you the extremist are the only one that can actually connect those dots. In the leftist own head, it's totally not the same at all and never will be. Trump and Obama could speak the exact same sentence word for word with the exact same delivery, and it can be totally different in their head.

Johnny Cash for me probably. Otherwise my taste is pretty old school mainstream, George Strait, Hank Williams, and the like. I've never really been in to country though so take it with a grain of salt. All the new stuff that is essentially the most poppy of pop music with beer and pickup truck substituted in the lyrics is gross.

I didn't know such a thing was still around, sucks they finally got to it. Gives me memories of the Napster days when we'd exploit the school's T1 all day to download music then I'd bring my parallel port Zip drive to hook up to the school's computer to take the files home to burn to CDs to give to friends. That was the only way, USB wasn't common yet. There was zero network and PC security at school back then and us high school kids knew how to problem solve. As far as I'm concerned those were the glory days of the internet.

I'll give the music industry a bit of credit, they learned to make things reasonably available at not a stupid price. You don't have to get Sony Music+ for $14.99 and that gets you only Sony artists and some scraps they put together to say they have a billion songs. Then oh wait you wanted that artist, well they are a Virgin Premium exclusive, that will be another $14.99.

As a fellow physical media lover, I wish I'd had the foresight (and the drive space) to rip all my old CDs as FLAC back in the day. I ripped everything I had into 128kbps MP3s at the time. Then I went and used the CDs in the car, portable CD player, etc. until most of them weren't that great condition, got tossed, etc. and I have almost none of them.

So unfortunately, at the time music is one of the only things I still pay to stream, albeit not Spotify. I just enjoy the expansive library available that I haven't had the time to build up. I do have a handful on my NAS and a few physical CDs I picked up at an estate sale. There's actually tons at the flea markets around here I should look through them more. For me, I go more for blu-rays. I have no streaming services, when I want to watch something, I acquire it and either watch the disc or rip it if it's a TV series or I want to take it with me. Since I care about maybe 1% of modern content, it's pretty easy to find what I'm looking for.

Yeah at least originally it was white monochrome, so I was making a half joke. One bored weekend I thought about making a parody full of disclaimers and genders and rainbow flags then getting to a game that can't be played because the ball didn't consent to being hit around. Then I figured if I put it up on Steam I might actually get a positive reception from the journalists a d didn't want that.

Have you seen Pong though? Everything in the game is made up of whites! Everything! Blacks are as usual forced to the background.

Everyone I can think of that's ever criticized me for video games had their own vice that was just as bad if not worse. Either it was as simple as they watched TV as much as I played games or as complex as recurring alcohol/DUI problems. There was never one that wasn't in a glass house throwing stones.

Such a weakened society that we are supposed to give criminals our property over fighting them for it. I'm glad I'm not in Canada, where at the very least if someone tries to steal my car I can shoot them.

I saw Dark Forces remaster last week and at a glance I’d guess they packaged up a community made modern engine with the original files, maybe running textures through some filters, and said “here you go it’s a release”. Ok, fine, but $30 come on! There are brand new games that launch at $30 with way more effort put in, several of which I’ve done the unthinkable and bought for full price.

I’ve seen more “Mostly Negative” releases on Steam from major publishers in the last year than I think every previous year combined. They’ve lost themselves to DEI and I don’t think it comes back.

I’m not even in the camp that I would prefer this to have been a total remaster. I like when they re-release a game with only minor changes to the original graphics. A bug-fixed game with modern graphics settings, input support, and multiplayer would have been fine. I do read from the reviews though that a lot of the complaints come from multiplayer server availability. Is there a server available to run your own? I’d praise them for that just because MP would be fun again if players could run their own servers however they want.

They are pretty clear on the front page of their official website sweetbabyinc.com what they do. I don’t need this rag or any other garbage journalist telling me otherwise, it can be taken straight from the horses mouth.

I'm pretty good with Linux, just not gaming on Linux. I went from Ubuntu to Fedora a year or so ago as my main desktop OS. I just don't game on that machine. I may see about setting up a dual boot to at least try some games. I've used Factorio successfully, but that was just too easy it doesn't ask much of the computer.

Here I'll put this in a format they will understand.

Please! 👏 Leave! 👏

They won't though. As for me, well I will just say you may all go to hell, and I will go to Texas.

I buy on GOG where I can and actually archive the offline installers of everything I buy. Seems crazy, but I've got old games on freaking CD-ROM that I have gone back and enjoyed, so it's not ridiculous to think in a decade I'll want some game that you can't get anymore.

There's piracy too, so things will always be around, but it's easier to keep things I have already.

No kidding. I'm about to dip my toes into games on Linux just because I'm sick of how much more and more Windows has essentially become a live-service game.

If you’re a “gamer” who spends big money on cosmetics and pay-to-win mechanics

This is really bad with young people (like under 18). Go see how many of them would call themselves gamers and haven't shoveled mountains of money into Fortnite skins, Roblox, etc. Just see a kid's birthday party where they get piles of in-game currency gift cards where in one day they will stack up more Fortnite gift cards than I've spent on any single game in my entire life. You can laugh at them but they don't care, because how they appear in a game is that fucking important to them.

No more remakes. What’s next a Pong remake? With an intro warning that the white paddle used historically may be insensitive to people of other races and the ability to change your paddle to represent any letter of the faggot alphabet.

They harass the shit out of this shop because they know they will decline and it will get them attention. Just order the cake somewhere else.

I don't see a lot of actual bad there by looks alone, I mean relatively fit white women. The way they present themselves though just makes me see future problems. I want a good mother, and well, spoiled trend chasers dancing to gorilla sounds are a lot of red flags that these women are going to be high maintenance and low value.
