Even if they kick out the left, a lot of them will still collapse because they'll have no faculty. The numbers for political affiliation of faculty by major are absurd.
Plus, even if you can salvage some of the departments basically everything except STEM and Business will be completely gone for sure. And while that is a good thing (the last thing we need is a continuation of the indoctrination to social worker/HR Rep/barista pipeline) in most colleges those are the lion's share of the enrollments. These organizations require the social science, english, theatre, etc. majors to keep the lights on.
So, we'll end up with a lot more schools and they'll be 100% focused on actual useful subjects instead of all the BS. Well, there has been a lot of talk within academia about reimagining what the college experience should look like these days, so hope they enjoy it!

Sure, you don't want a bunch of clones but you want everyone on the same page or at a minimum same chapter. If one person's goal in the session is to talk to every single person in town while the rest of the party wants to crunch a bunch of skulls someone is not going to be happy.
If you want to see just how bad some of the actors truly are on Deep Space Nine, you should definitely check this one out. Not only is it an absolutely horrible Sisko episode about civil rights (what else) but everyone goes without make-up and they do (laughable) New York accents.

On the one hand, screw Luigi. This was a case of premeditated murder, and a politically motivated killing at that. Yes, the whole health insurance situation is a mess (though not nearly as bad as redditors and related constantly make it out to be), but what did killing this guy possibly accomplish?

Fixed it. You've already got movements in at least four of the highlighted states trying to either break away or at least diminish the massive power a few cities have over the whole state, and you're telling them "we're forcibly dragging you into a country that is orders of magnitude closer to your fascist boogeyman than the US is"? That's not going to end well.
The main thing I'd like to see is a release on non-Nintendo hardware. Yes, I know that the odds of it happening are basically non-existent, but it's been years since I could could care about system-exclusive games, and today there's zero technical reason for it. Even if the game comes out as a 10/10 absolute classic best game in history, I don't feel like giving Nintendo $4-500 or whatever the Switch 2 costs just so I can buy a game from them.

Looks like release day peak players on Steam was 41412. Right now, it's about double Avowed's peak, but half of Veilguard's. It will almost certainly go up once we hit the weekend, but it will be interesting to see how high. In Avowed's case, it went from 17k to 19k in the weekend bump, Veilguard from 70k to 90k.
Even if it did happen, it is not impressive when you actually look at the values.
Let's say they actually got rid of 426000 federal employees. That means about 5000 employees a month. Well, the federal government has 3000000 employees. 5000 a month is 0.16% of the federal workforce each month. I'm pretty sure you could hit that just by retirees alone.
