This has been my head-canon for awhile.
I think China helped fuel this globalist woke movement, in order to usurp the West until they could swoop in to do the killing blow.
Unfortunately for them (and us), the NWO people really want to see Revelations through, and it looks like tensions are still not cool.
I hate China, but if a conflict arose from all this, I would not want the current woke Western collision to win. I think their globalist world would be even more oppressive than China’s ridiculous surveillance-state.

It’s pretty horrifying to see the mainstream defend this behavior, and start to rip women of their personal/specialized spaces.
The worst part is for every 1 woman disgusted by this behavior, there are 2 that see no problem in it, and 1 woman that worships it. I think a lot of harassment cases are on the horizon.
It’s a sad time to see the wars on masculinity and femininity progress so far and make so many people miserable along the way.

I miss the days of characters like John Stewart. I ended up liking him a bit more than Hal Jordan, but we can't have that nowadays without some forced messaging.
After experiencing the shift in popularity for comics in the early 2010s, I would say that we went from 90% men as the readership (from the 1950s Archie comics & whatnot) to about a 75/25 ratio.
More women are interested in comics, but not necessarily devoting headspace to it. I know a friend-group where 1 doesn’t care about Marvel, 2 like watching their shows and movies, and one is a Captain Marvel super-fan (Ms. Marvel run for life, screw Carl Manvers).
The problem a lot of us have is that there was an audience for the craziness.
I used Pinterest to look at food and cats, so I can see why they might think their target demographic would champion this.
That being said, maybe we should have some self control, instead of defaulting to BAN HAMMER.
All the residents of Twitter, Reddit, and ResetEra alongside streamers will turn it on.
We live in a hyper-sensitive world, unfortunately, so everything must be sterilized to avoid “offensive” controversy.
I actually replied to Rebel Taxi on a Battletoads video, telling him the old designs of the Toads/Evil Queen was supposed to show how attractive appearance doesn’t equal goodness of heart. The nu-designs take that away to virtue-signal in CalArts.

Accessibility options are becoming more and more common in video games today, a trend we’re hoping continues for years to come. No, the best thing is to create opposition to them in your own way. Stop retreating and giving up. Create your own media, voice your opinion to others in a way that will draw more people to your side/get them thinking, etc.
Small Christian perspective: The woke are oppressing us, and they’re happy about it. Their demons (not the people, but those demons inhabiting the SJWs/mentally ill) will not rest until all good is gone from their sight. I think it’s all in God’s time, I trust He’ll help us out no matter what happens (I believe I will unfortunately live to see Revelations come true, although I’d like to be wrong).

Pretty good example of how media switched from being primarily for kids (with adult stuff to tide over more crowds) to the man-baby “now we’re grown up” generation. I’m ashamed to own that Adventure Time comic now, but I keep it as a reminder of what could have been.
I don’t think todiwan knows nothing, but they are very much so living in the past.
They’re repeating talking points we heard years ago about comics, movies, and video games. Then all of those examples were corrupted by the people we were told not to worry about.
We all should know better by now, but the majority unfortunately still haven’t learned from history.

Just an FYI, manga’s always targeted a Japanese audience because they make up a majority of the sales. That’s why they’ve been a good media source.
In the past year, with all the “Japanese good posts” that is starting to change, and the Western world is slowly starting to become the majority.
Can you guess what will happen when the woke West becomes the majority? I just want people to think about that before we bring even more Western attention to Japan.
The real solution is not to run to Japan, but to create alternative Western comics to this garbage. That’s the way to go, and it’s what I support (shipping costs are a pain, but it’s worth it).
Japanese game companies, because I'm sick and tired of hearing "muh based Japan":
-SEGA are true believers. They sponsor the Pride parade alongside MIcrosoft and Soyny, and implement the oppressive American LGBT hiring practices.
-Square Enix are a combination of true believers, panderers, and anti-SJW employees. The true believers are gaining power if their E3 is any indication.
-Capcom USA are true believers, and are trying to force Capcom Japan to become true believers. Right now I believe Capcom Japan are panderers. The recent Resident Evil was made with Americans in mind first, which is why I skipped it. A lot of my friends weren't ecstatic with Village, even though it wasn't the trainwreck RE3 was with Jill.
-Bandai Namco are starting to pander to the West, they could reverse course depending on their Western sales (more Western sales = bad).
-ArcSystemWorks are pandering hard to both the West and China with all the recent dumbing down of their games, character designs to appeal to Twitter & Reddit, and censorship of Taiwan in some of their entries. I wouldn't be surprised if they go woke in the next couple of years.
I might update the list if I remember any more.

I'm by default passing on Starfield and ES6. If there isn't ANY woke stuff in them, maybe I'll pick up a copy of the games.
You missed the part where they're subtlety changing gender to "style" in all their games.
Splatoon 3, Mario Golf, and Animal Crossing are some examples. In Fire Emblem 3 Houses, it was called "form".
As a reminder, Nintendo of America employees helped ResetEra doxx Japanese developers to get all of that accomplished.
That’s how it happened with me once Sony California starting injecting wokeness into everything they could. I did not care about politics at all beforehand.
My opinion of the “liberal” left of America has only fallen ever since.
I mean, almost every game series nowadays follows this pattern. Replace the old passion with the correct checkbox.
You don’t have to be a prophet to see a trend in the process of repeating itself.
The successor will probably be woke, the games will lose what made them special (even if they did start to be copy-paste after a while), and the series will degrade.
I’ll be surprised if this isn’t how things go.
