New Vegas is undoubtedly solid. But it's very much a different game from the Metro series. Particularly the good ones.

2033 Redux and Last Light Redux were set in the titular Metro and were largely about the Dark Ones. IMO they are some of the best games for atmosphere and immersion I have ever played.

Exodus decided that what Metro players wanted wasn't to look around the rich and complex environment of the Metro, but instead to gallivant around another generic open world field full if cardboard cutout characters and the bare minimum returning characters from previous games.

They all get dragged in.

Still salty that Metro Exodus was much more generic and bland to seek the mythical "broad appeal"

Well well well if it isn't the consequences of her own actions.

Australians never got out of the mindset of being a prison colony, evidently.

Never got out of the habit of being a prison colony, did they?

It doesn't need to be as complex as some CCP conspiracy.

Remember that the Taliban will mount your head on a pike if you disagree with them or say what they don't want you to say.

Any and all news which comes out of Afghanistan right now only does so because it's approved by them.

Used to just be under KiA on Reddit. And there was a growing distrust between the users and mods but the spark which lit the tinderbox was a community vote.

You see the mods wanted to start censoring a bunch of "off-topic" content. But, we didn't agree that the content was off-topic nor did we agree with their removing it. So the mods put together a vote on the off-topic posts rule. Option 1 was to keep the rule as-is, and still too harsh for many users. Options 2-4 were progressively increased censorship. The users overwhelmingly voted for option 1, but the mods essentially said "fuck you we're doing option 3 anyway"

This was the last straw for many and has us see KiA1 as a lost cause. Antonio had been holding onto KiA2 for a while and opened it up to the refugees.

I agree with the other guy that he does some good things but is a swamp creature trying to court Trump voters.

When push comes to shove, don't expect anything but a swamp creature from him.

Yup. It's my favourite movie fun fact that Suicide Squad (2016) won more Oscars than the Shawshank Redemption

For the fanboys of this movie, there's little more entertaining than telling them it has nothing on the Oscar winning movie Suicide Squad (2016).

This is a symptom, the real cause is letting schools and colleges get away with giving out more and more high quality grades, year on year, with no consequences. It's not their problem that the high grades have become devalued, it's the students' problem.

Couple this with loans being given out to anyone regardless of whether they're likely to be paid back (yay! government intervention) and a college doesn't need to worry about whether their applicants can do much - the college can simply give them a passing grade and take on hundreds of thousands of dollars to do so. And from a pure business sense, why wouldn't you?

To address the route cause, there needs to be some way of incentivising colleges to only give a select few top students the top grades, and to untangle the web of government intervention and bureaucracy which got us there. After that, things like this will start falling apart on their own.

If you can't read/ write or do math you are not getting in to college. I assume even if you are a transgender black non-binary paraplegic you are still required to read and write to get in to a good school

Only in the private sector.

The US and other systems have systematically removed any real need for Schools and Colleges to only give high grades to those who actually deserve them. This has been going on for decades, all in the name of accessibility and other bullshit. Year on year, decade on decade, more and more top ranked grades have been awarded and nothing has been done to reign in the subsequent devaluation of those grades.

So for a college who can give a passing grade to some troglodyte who can't even read, and get paid vast amounts to do so (since loans are given without any basis in value gained to pay them back), why would they want to turn anyone away?

So clearly set up so the tranny would "go viral" over it but weren't expecting to get shouted down.

To cap it off, when called in her bullshit she claims that she does volunteer at a hospital.

As per her bio, she is a volunteer physical therapist. Not a doctor or clinician.

Yup. Right up in there.

If I'm being cynical though, it's not the unvaxxed they want to identify and purge this time. They just want to lay the groundwork for being able to select any group they choose to be other-ed with the sake zeal in future.

If they're being that blatant about it, they're probably dumb enough to be doing it for free.
