Yeah, we all saw that coming with the trailer.
Oh no, my non-expectations have been crushed, anyway...
Going to guess they are making each gang leader a female of some color and have the big bad guy the boss’s mother. Also, everyone is gay, bi, or what the fuck ever that isn’t straight.
I think trans and some non-binary will be the new push. Gay and bi are so last decade.
There are plenty of games from eastern Europe, even AAA titles. Witcher, Cyberpunk, Kingdom Come: Deliverance, the Metro series, Mafia, ArmA... also Stalker, World of Tanks/Warships/Planes, War Thunder... oh and Factorio, can't forget that.
They all get dragged in.
Still salty that Metro Exodus was much more generic and bland to seek the mythical "broad appeal"
2033 Redux and Last Light Redux were set in the titular Metro and were largely about the Dark Ones. IMO they are some of the best games for atmosphere and immersion I have ever played.
Exodus decided that what Metro players wanted wasn't to look around the rich and complex environment of the Metro, but instead to gallivant around another generic open world field full if cardboard cutout characters and the bare minimum returning characters from previous games.
New Vegas is undoubtedly solid. But it's very much a different game from the Metro series. Particularly the good ones.
exodus is 'open WaRLd' redux was a lot more linear.
That's a lot of words just to say "This game sucks and is unfunny"

Sad. The penetrator scene in SA3 was one of the greatest video game moments.
So it's just Agents of Mayhem all over again?
Didn't need two paragraphs for that. The cinematic and gameplay trailers were enough of a tell.
