Yeah, I know it's foolish to use my main account to speak my political views, but there's something in me that refuses to cower behind a dummy account so that "daddy google" stays happy with me.
I'm pretty much like, no, people need to speak their mind and speak freely regardless of the consequences. If I'm not willing to do it when I have no money or anything really at stake, then I wouldn't be willing to do it when there are serious things at stake.
Yeah, the video that hasn't gone live is a reupload, basically me trying again to see if it does it again. I uploaded that first one without realizing I had a VPN on the first time, so that could be the explanation. Like you say, you can't figure out anything with Youtube. They should tell you. Doesn't mean I'll obey the rules, but it would be nice to KNOW them.
But yeah those view counts from the screenshot was from a video that was not premiered, but uploaded normally 11 hours ago. So the zero views or impressions is definitely not right.

As to what you're seeing just now, I reuploaded the video, set the original to unlisted and trying again.
I realized when I uploaded the first time, I had a VPN on, so perhaps it could be Youtube flagged it as bot activity or something.
Reuploaded without VPN, also setting as premiere to see if it still has zero views after it goes live tomorrow.
EDIT: Not sure if I should do the premiere thing. I've heard it can hurt your numbers unless you have a huge amount of subscribers. I'll just have it upload tomorrow instead of premiere and see if it does the same having now uploaded without VPN
Even when I had like two subscribers, I never got zero views. Those 15 impressions are all from me.
Ever since I got to around 140 subscribers, even my absolute worst performing videos would get about 7 or 8 views.
Never did I have zero impressions or anything like that.
Two days ago I commented on the UK youtube channel "The Independent" telling a feminist off on that video about the "undercover jogging police ladies", and then lo and behold, my comment is gone (and likely reported) and when I upload my next video, it's as if it might as well not even exist.
Now I've had suppressions in terms of reach in the past because I speak freely and don't cowtow to political correctness. But not ever like this/to this degree.
The only difference between then and now is the big AI overhaul thing that Youtube is doing (where people are changing their profile pictures to clippy).
My last upload before this was about a month ago, so before the big AI big brother monitoring they're doing now.

Another exception is Back to the Future. The first film, because of changes in the past, the family becomes more successful. Not living in the Hamptons successful, but going from lower middle class struggling to moderately middle class where they can afford the car Marty really wanted, the house is furnished nicely, the dad is in a job he enjoys and pays better/ no one is his boss (except maybe book publishers he has to negotiate with).
It's hard to think of much or any others, that's a good point.
Oh one other, The Mummy with Brendan Fraser. The sequel Mummy Returns sucked, but we see that they kept the wealth they got from the first movie and are now living in a mansion.
Looking at the wiki for the Mummy, apparently in the third film they had moved out, with Brendan Fraser's character leaving it to his parents to enjoy their retirement. I only watched the first 2 minutes or so of that movie before realizing it was garbage and turned it off, so I've never really counted it.
Mummy Returns isn't very good, but it still felt a little more in line with the first one. The third one felt really off right from the get go.

I'm not kidding when I say it's essentially impossible to make your character look like a white male. Every eye type and skin shade makes your character look Asian at the most.

People who are busy and don't go on internet forums and twitter are advantaged in the sense that it's better to be productive and live your life, but are disadvantaged when it comes to accepting narratives. They have no other source of information coming in so they hear what the media says, and then because of the framing get angry and go hard on the opposition.
