People who are busy and don't go on internet forums and twitter are advantaged in the sense that it's better to be productive and live your life, but are disadvantaged when it comes to accepting narratives. They have no other source of information coming in so they hear what the media says, and then because of the framing get angry and go hard on the opposition.
Which we would too if the media framing was reality.
If there truly a deadly disease akin to the black plague and it would save countless lives if people took ten minutes out of their day to get a harmless vaccine, we'd be outraged at people who didn't do it.
Productive people like Schwarzenegger aren't going around looking at all the info. They're hanging out with buddies, family, and most relevant, living in a happy little bubble because of his wealth and position in society.
So it's not that he hates freedom, but that he was really angry at the false straw-men erected by the media and spoke in anger. I say this because it's uncharacteristic of his life in general. So I'm more willing to give him the benefit of the doubt.
You are ignoring having principles and your own standards not guided by current trends. It's not just an issue of education, but of morality. You are right, those normal productive people, especially liberals, often don't have any such principles, or they bend based on circumstance. Your example sounds reasonable but if someone understands American liberty, and personal choice over what goes into our bodies to be among our most cherished rights - which theoretically he should as a politician - he would not say screw your freedoms. But he holds no such principles, or possibly a scarier thought is that he holds more important counter-principles. (Another past quote of his when asked about the role of the state was "Everything must be provided for the people!")
Personally for me I decided very early on, even before the psuedo-vaxes were distributed, that I wouldn't take any injection or treatment for this overblown flu. I was willing to get fired over it. I respect everyone else making their own healthcare decisions too. Honestly it literally wouldn't matter if it had been a black plague. Not gonna take it. Screw your grandma.
He doesn't believe in american values because he is a german socialist. He literally does not care about our, as in american, freedoms and doesn't see himself as one.
Agreed.

I like your perspective.
