That's the thing. We in red rural areas respect the police as they respect us, and for the most part, almost never have to get super serious in their jobs, because our areas are usually free of crime to a degree. Simultaneously, our areas are far more armed, to a point that if truly needed, we could defend ourselves without police, or even against police. This mutual understanding is key to a polite society.

Oh please, you think they'll care about "credibility" at this point? The general public truly does not pay attention or care about their agenda pushing to do anything about it. There's only one way to get them to stop at this point, and you know exactly what it is, and why I can't spell it out.
