These people need legitimate hardship in their life. They would not behave like this if they had the perspective offered by the simple life experience of having been punched in the face at least once in their life by someone who knows how to throw a punch.

While I can concede the utility of it, I'm still going to balk at the prospect from a moral perspective. That kid didn't do anything to deserve the axe.

AI translation voiceovers are improving I see. While the message may be true, I don't trust anything in that video as an authentic representation of reality.

I feel like the behavioral and genetic effects of hanging all of your criminals doesn't get talked about often enough.

The ones I knew definitely spun it as being a Right Wing Extremist because he registered as a Republican, completely discounting the possibility that someone might do that specifically to vote in the primary in order to sabotage the party's choice in candidate for the general election.

I don't trust anyone who tries to take control of an emerging technology in the name of moral righteousness. Too often that's just a cloak to hide nefarious intent. I think the correct course of action here is to largely leave AI unimpeded regardless of what images are being generated with it and focus on purging the pedos themselves.

There's been issues with even the White foreigners being obnoxious as fuck with their smart phones and trying to film Japanese people who clearly don't want to be filmed. I won't hold it against Japan when they kick out all foreigners.

Plenty of awful music does that on the regular. That's not really a good metric to convince me with.

Also, it sounds like it's just a compilation of season 1, with one new episode.

That seems like a pretty key detail. If it's like other shows that do recap compilations then it's safe to assume that episode is either the pilot for the next season or inconsequential to the larger plot. Good to know I won't have to worry about missing out on content then.

A Quaker who advocates for Islam and pretends he can read minds. Get the fuck out of here you utter faggot.

Islam is right about women but that's no reason to advocate for Islam you filthy fucking traitor.

Hard disagree. There are plenty of catchy songs coming out of Russia but I don't think this is one of them.

If you think you're going to get me to take the Shahada you've got another thing coming.

I still think the wholesale slaughter of livestock like that is maliciously wasteful.

I couldn't finish windbreaker season 1. It just got too saccharine and the fight scenes weren't enough to carry it for me.

Good to hear that Country Bumpkin is shaping up nicely though. I'm excited to jump into that later.

But when is the Kaijuu number 8 movie dropping? I haven't seen it show up on any of the trackers yet but I'm pretty sure it aired back in March.

Finding good anime as they release has always been an utter crapshoot. You gotta wade through a river of mediocrity in order to find a handful of gems.

Here's your go-to source for what's currently releasing: https://myanimelist.net/anime/season/schedule

The ratings on there are...suspect at best in my opinion. There's plenty of old shows that you've never heard of that are fantastic, so give us a sense of what kind of show you're interested in and we can guide you towards something good.

Wholly unprompted, I'd suggest Oh Edo Rocket for a good mix of humor, sci-fi and historic period piece. Torrent it on nyaa.si. If you can't find it there I can probably figure out how to get you an invite to bakabt.

Fire Force Season 3

Worth noting that the manga's available on Humble Bundle right now if anyone goes for official releases. I picked it up more for Shaman King myself.

Honestly this season looks pretty underwhelming so I'm probably going to spend it catching up on my backlog for the most part.

Ballpark de Tsukamaete is probably the most intriguing slice of life show I've seen come across my radar in a while, but I don't really go for that genre so I'll just wait for people to start raving about it before wasting any time with it.

I've Been Killing Slimes for 300 Years and Maxed Out My Level was a show I watched the first season of because there was a drought at the time but I might go back in for a second go if I deplete my backlog. It's good to have some disgustingly wholesome shows mixed in as a palette cleanser once in a while.

From Old Country Bumpkin to Master Swordsman looks like it's borderline Isekai slop which is the sort of trash I go for. It's also leaning into the emerging trend of shows that cater to men who are aging out of being able to relate to the youthful male protagonists and I am not above indulging in a show that is deliberately catering to me.

The Guilty Gear anime is probably going to be unholy trash because of what they've done to Bridget. I might check it out for an episode or two just to get a feel for the production quality but I sincerely doubt I'll be able to stomach it if Daisuke's recent retconning for the trannies is any indication of what I can expect from the show.

The church is not bloodthirsty or influential enough to make Islam's path viable.

The puzzle piece I can't figure out is how to re-assert control now that the state has made it illegal. I don't think you can successfully rally a political movement around overthrowing the government in order to put women back in the kitchen. People will pine for some mythical societal collapse but I don't think it's going to arrive in our lifetime. It'll be a slow agonizing burn that takes generations and make just hit an equilibrium at a much lower quality of life but never actually take the form of the sort of anarchy that allows for a new healthy society to rise from the ashes of the old one. We'll just be stuck with a shittier version of what already exists.
