The AAA industry can't burn to the ground soon enough.

Yeah, I ran into that about a month ago. I do not regret buying the game a second time now that I've got a copy that can't be fucked up by corporate meddling.

I swear once GOG folds we're going straight back to piracy being the only way to play anything consistently.

GOG at least offers offline installers for people who aren't retarded faggots who are too stupid to be allowed on the internet.

People filming this on their phone rather than doing anything to help is everything that is wrong with our society.

Fuck every single person in that train station.

I had a history teacher senior year in high school whose entire curriculum was more or less covering the various communist regimes. We spent several months going over The Cultural Revolution and The Great Leap Forward. It was a very informative class in retrospect.

I'm of the opinion that Gamergate never actually ended. It's been going for a decade straight now and can truthfully claim accomplishments such as the election of Trump and the current collapse of AAA game companies.

How do you have part 2 when the opening act is still going?

If I had more sense and wasn't simply making the perfunctory effort to mostly just dodge region locking I would go with Mullvad. They let you pay anonymously with cash, which is kind of insane in the modern world. That says to me that they're taking things seriously. That said, I've no idea if they'd crack to nation-state level pressures to fork over data. I know a couple of the other more well known players have.

So why weren't they given marching orders the other times they've tried this play over the years? There's more to this puzzle.

Is this like Swine Flu and SARS? They've been running the same playbook for over twenty years, it's just that in 2020 it managed to land for some reason.

I yell at people a lot for not doing this, so thank you for doing this.

Seeing as how I'm currently replaying it, I'd argue that Dragon Age Origins actually has excellent world building. Running through the campaign has been an absolute slog because of all the bloody reading I'm stopping to do. They absolutely put the work in on the world building for this one. I maintain that it was the last game Bioware actually released.

Given that all of our money is fake and gay and the value of the dollar is only holding up due to the perception that our military might has yet to completely collapse...does anything meaningfully change if we hold the debt ceiling in place?

I agree we shouldn't spend money we don't have, but I can't help but wonder if this isn't all just political theatre and none of it really matters.

Either way they're not human and should be treated with suspicion and scorn.

This fucking nigger right here, calling me a newfag like I wasn't there when Arthur Chu called in the bomb threats during #GGinDC...

Are you literally too stupid to understand the distinction that has emerged over time to differentiate this place from r/KiA2?

The US military is testing new shit now that Russia/Ukraine showed that drone warfare is the next big tech in military conflict.
