"Screaming in the wind for a few decades about no pockets while CLEARLY doing nothing to actually change it is peak woman moment"
Fair point, but there is value in playing Devil's advocate. It prevents you from just turning into a sniveling little Gollum creature that has to blame everyone else for their own problems.
Can't say for sure since I never had to ever use one as a dude, but those things look like enormous pains in the asses to rely on all the time. It's bulky and basically has a "steal me" tag on it. Though to be fair, they tend to carry around a lot more shit then us.
It always feels like there's parts of the story being left out when the cop supposedly turns a situation from a 1 to an 11 at the drop of a hat. I get that they have their bad days, but come the fuck on. All it fucking takes is an ID check. Literally zero reason a normal human being gets that hostile for no fucking reason.
I enjoyed it for what it was. It did have some .. moments, but the original did too. Like, Cloud may have had a femboy dance number in the remake that made me want to die, the original put the poor guy in a hot tub gay gang bang, so I'd say he got off a little easier thus time around. It was also very nostalgic at key moments... till the end, where it literally, fucking literally turns into a kingdom hearts plot. Like, no hyperbole. There is a legally distinct giant heartless sub final boss.
It's not that hard to head canon her not wanting to wear it because it reminds her of Joker, though come to think of it, she had a good relationship with him in the Arkham series, soo I dunno. Maybe it's her way of grieving.
sigh
Spoony.....
