I guess that's just a West Coast thing. I have never encountered one TOO overly aggressive like that. Though the gas can motherfuckers will sometimes come up to you. I hadn't considered the idea of varying breeds of homelessness... makes sense.
Trying to play a card game with a language barrier (hell, the cards are probably also in each person's preferred language) sounds borderline fucking impossible. Even IF you use a medium to converse, it would tack on SO much time to the match.
Exactly. You're already paying for it without your consent via taxes. Pan handlers are getting you to double dip. Assuming they aren't flat out scamming. It is so fucking obnoxious getting stopped at that red light while one of those motherfuckers with their sign awkwardly stares right at you for what feels like an eternity.
Most the time they can't even be helped. You can only make their lives move comfortable. They don't want to get out of their situation, so you're stuck with adult sized toddlers till the day they die. I've had to work with them in the medical scene and they are by far the most demanding and entitled assholes you will ever meet.
The thing about people hating on other people's choice in escapism is that they refuse to acknowledge their own. Everyone has SOMETHING and they are being elitist about it. What isn't their thing must automatically be considered bad.
OF can die in a fire, but I also have very little sympathy for people that should be old enough to realize throwing money at women is no way to get love. He failed the wisdom check and needs to be held accountable, or he will just keep failing it.
