Wouldn’t be the first time the UK has been invaded.

They have a very long history of being conquered. Except usually it’s by other white Europeans.

Summation: boardgames are only tariffed at ~20% and not the 245% they are claiming. It’s only due to incompetence in filing tariff codes that companies doing business in China are getting bent over.

It’s also piss poor management when a multi million dollar company can’t absorb the small cost of additional tariffs when their kickstarter backers essentially funded the entire production run.

TL:DR: Greed and incompetence.

$20 is overinflated too. The writer said it was actually about half that. For a game that easily cost well over $120. That’s insane markup.

Here’s what amuses me most. The creator of Gloomhaven, works or worked in the county I live in which has a board game manufacturing facility.

Pisses me off too because it’s one of my favorite board games.

It’s a Swedish designed game. I think Ludo Fact is the manufacturer. It’s a German firm but they have an American branch.

Just slap a wig on, a bit of red lipstick, call yourself trans, and bam! You’ll be wearing angel wings in no time.

There is a company in my city that makes board games (I think they make Terraforming Mars, among others). It’s certainly feasible to do within the United States.

I own several stonemaiar games. But if they don’t want to move production to the USA then screw them. There’s plenty of table top games out there.

The thing about the original trilogy is how rewatchable it is. It’s great every time I see it again.

The prequels weren’t quite like that but the action and CGI was a blast. Even if the acting and writing were bad.

The sequels were awful. TGA wasn’t terrible, and it brought back some nostalgia but not worth seeing again. TLJ was woke bullshit that should’ve never been made. I regret watching it. The last sequel I didn’t watch.

Now, rogue one I’ve seen three times. It has some fantastic elements and really good scenes that echo the originals. However, rewatching it wasn’t the same. Each time I felt like the magic just wasn’t there. Maybe because I’m getting old and jaded. Still and good movie but lacking the rewatch factor.

Now, Andor was good. But it’s a different beast. It’s a slow build up to a crescendo back to a slow build up and another crescendo. But holy cow was it good. I’m terrified that they’ll ruin season 2 though.

She’s not invisible. She’s RIGHT THERE!

I know because I watched for 5 minutes to make sure she didn’t disappear.

This is silly.

Bad guys won plenty of wars. I’ll just give you one example. Genghis Khan. He and his progeny won a lot of wars and were universally regarded as bad. They succeeded in depopulating a large percentage of the planet.

Lack of competition? There’s a ton of competition out there. The problem is people seem obsessed with watching the next new thing and will switch to whatever service has it.

My newest rule of thumb is never buy anything written by a woman. They have to cram in some kind of lesbian sex scene in anything they write. They just can’t help it.

Older novels by female authors are fine. But the newer ones are awful.

The Silmarillion is a slog. The beginning is quite good though as it details the creation of middle earth. However, it gets bogged down in so many name drops that you have to reference the genealogy tables in the back of the book.

Ditto. I was willing to look past SO much in that show because I like Nathan Fillon, but after that episode I stopped watching.

And somehow it’s on season 7 now?

I really enjoyed Andor. It was a slow build up with good punches throughout. The prison episodes were fantastic.

Disney did a terrible job marketing the show. They pushed Obi-Wan hard instead.

The way I see it. They accidentally let a good show slip through their hands. I’m afraid they’ll remedy that in season 2.

I would’ve liked more context as well.

I’m guessing that the audience has to decide when an argument is lost or won by raising the flag. Essentially, flagging announces that you’ve lost the debate.

I hate to agree with you but you are absolutely right.

Both my grandmothers were leaders in the community, but they were mothers first and everything they did was for their family.

But the idea of family was ripped from the ideology of womanhood by the left.

A woman without family is just a child.

Now I’m watching white liberal women lead the way to the destruction of the western world. It’s both disheartening and infuriating.

South Park did an episode on this back in the guitar hero heyday.

The dad, Randy?, showed the boys he could play the guitar for real and offered to teach them. They said he was lame.
