Pixar brand
Does the Pixar brand still mean anything? I may not be the best mainstream bellwether, but when I saw The Good Dinosaur I realized that there is no reason to assume that anything Pixar produces in the future will be good.
Looking at the list, their most recent movies of any real quality are Coco (2017) and Toy Story 3 (2010...holy shit 2010?? I'm so old). Onward was okay. Their crap movies outnumber their good ones by this point.
Why are you quoting only statistics about Jewish ownership of 50+ slaves / plantations?
I can't see all the claims that have been made in this thread, thanks to excess moderation. But I'm going to guess that the claims were along the same lines as others I've heard, such as: "There were a lot more Jewish slave owners than white, but they were almost entirely city dwellers with 1 or 2 house slaves. Meanwhile, there were fewer white slave owners, but they frequently owned massive plantations with hundreds of slaves. In other words, there were more Jewish slave owners, but more slaves were owned by Whites."
Your counterpoints don't contradict that claim. But if the claim is true, then your points come across as deliberately calculated to paint Jews in the best possible light.
So my question is, what's going on here? Was there a different claim being made, which you're points actually contradict? Do you have evidence that the claim in assuming was made is false? Why did you feel the need to limit your stats to owners of 50+ slaves, as if only that number is relevant?
WTF? There IS a Planet B. There are aliens, and space travel, and teleporters, and even Mars evolved intelligent life. Also, Superman can singlehandedly make fossil fuels obsolete by turning a crank. Not to mention any of the other superheroes who can create free energy even more efficiently. Global warming is a nonsense problem in the DC universe.

That transition was so weird. In 2011, PA, gamers, nerds, my coworkers, basically everyone would be "Team Dickwolf" when it came to that kind of issue. Then by the time GamerGate happened, they all became SJWs without even noticing they had changed. I swear to god, in 2012-2013, they put something in the water supply that messed with people's minds. The change was so fundamental and so swift.
Anyways, it's nice to reminisce about old times. I liked the Penny Arcade circle and web comics as a whole. But social media changed that landscape too much, I think.
Straub's fall from sanity is more heartbreaking than PA's, I think.
Oh no. I looked away from the trainwreck too soon. I loved Chainsawsuit, Blamimations, and the Kris and Scot show. Then the latter two went away and he started dumping retarded shit on Chainsawsuit, so I just drifted away. But it's worse than that, isn't it? I haven't seen any of C-Team or that stuff.
PvP got bad, too, not in a political way, it just wasn't good at all anymore. I still catch up on PA regularly, but this comic just made me sigh in disappointment.
The Terminal Man. (I had to look it up, because I didn't remember. Apparently they made a movie, too, which I know nothing about). Published in 1972, so not that bad in terms of modern bullshit, comparatively.
To be honest, I remember getting bored towards the end because it devolved into uninteresting thriller cliches. But the ideas were neat in the first half.
The main character is a strong independent science woman, but sometimes she just likes to let her hair down and be treated like a lady. That pretty much sums up the level of wokeness and cliche you can expect.
There's also an amazing critique of LA culture and the effect of everyone being in their cars all the time. It was amazing reading that in the year 200whenever and realizing it was all still true, only moreso.
It's a forgettable book with a memorable concept. That's all. But it also wasn't long, as I recall.
There's a Michael Crichton novel where they put some needles in a guy's head. I forget the exact purpose (maybe to cure something or make him smarter or something). It was supposed to detect brain activity and stimulate specific areas to trigger dopamine responses when he did certain things, essentially reprogramming him to want to do those things. Long story short, they screw up and accidentally make him happier when he's being a violent psychopath.
I am pro-exclusion, so I have no objection to strictly all-[fill in the blank] spaces for people who want to create them. However, I do insist on two things:
You don't whine when men create male-only spaces, too
You don't come crying to us when no one fixes your broken toilet or takes care of your rat problem
