That might be true for the most part,, But most of the crap comes from a relative handful of known corrupt precincts

I've long suspected the real purpose of feminism was to expand the labor supply and drive down real wages

I noticed at the start of this that some people starting suddenly acting scared in an unnatural way.. as if they were feigning being scared for political purposes. Along with deploying the usual left-wng tactic of "dont you dare question scientific fact of the virus, its settled!" And also "dont you dare call it the flu!".

So it was obvious that something was up and the virus was actively being politicized

Whats the point of voter fraud in places like new York and Massachusetts that aren't likely to swing?

Its funny how people get more conservative and Republican when they are older, but then die and vote Democrat again the great circle of life!

I barely use reddit anymore. More people should do the same

And didn't they stop counting at exactly the same time?

And the media and social media companies were saying that Trump must not be allowed to declare victory election night. It's like they knew this would happen and it was all coordinated.

But But the media narriative is that world leaders just lurve the Dem presidents

I am not expecting it to be overturned, but the more people who see the corruption the better

Then why the rush to declare Biden the winner while recounts and court cases are pending.

In 2000 it took forever to finally declare a winner after it got through courts

I would argue that these vastly inflated polls were to that end.

Just simple measures tell you something is up:

If Biden is the winner, where are his coattails? How did Republicans gain in the house?

How did Trump win all the bellwether states and counties and still lose?

Until one day when Science(TM) changes its decree on COVID and all those people will fall in line like the sheep they are.

Its possible, but I think some D corporate donors like Disney are desperate to get the virus behind us. And will want return to normalcy sooner rather than later

I dont even think they'll wait that long.

During the Reagan/Bush years, the media kept fearmongering about a growing homeless epidemic. As soon as Clinton got elected, the media simply stopped talking about it. He didn't do anything to fix it.

If you look at a county-by-county electoral map, you will see the vast majority of the country is red except for coastal areas and urban centers.

From the 50s people fled the cities into the suburbs. Starting with the yuppie movement in the 80s, city living became cool again for young people. So states with large and growing urban populations started to shift blue, other solidly blue states turned red.

Each lifestyle- urban, suburban, exurban, rural comes with its own set of political issues that favor one party or the other.

If you look at electoral maps from the 70s or 80s, they are vastly different from what we've seen for the past 20 years.

2020 with its riots and "defund the police", and work from anywhere movements, might be the year to break the urbanization trend and see a new suburban exodus.

Also whether he wins or not, Trump changed the GOP, like Reagan before him.

And Dems used to be the party of the working class, of Catholics, of everyday people, and they've become the party of the corrupt elite and alienating much of their former base over time.

So I think the political trends of the last 20 years, which people assume will go on forever, will not necessarily be the political trends of the next 20 years.

I guess it means that all the hell we went through for the last 8 mos wasn't draconian enough?

If Biden wins, my gut says the media will start downplaying the risk and advocate to a return to normalcy

Maybe a pluralistic society would be great if you actually encouraged people to peacefully coexist and not use identity politics to pit groups against each other

Someone needs to make a "new testament" to karl marx's book cause its not just about class struggle anymore is it?

Was it ever? It always seemed to be some well-heeled people trying to stir the working class into revolt so that they could obtain power for themselves

I have to wonder how much of the "white educated vote" really comes down to thinly veiled classism. "We are better than those 'hicks', so we can't vote like them!". Seems like a lot is. So much of what they are voting for is not in the self-interest.

The polls the media reports have long been propaganda. They miraculously tighten up just before election day to maintain a shred of credibility.

The real polls are the internal polls each candidate runs. You can learn a lot by looking at where they campaign

I live in a blue state too and know what you mean about contradictions!

At work people don't typically talk politics, but if the do, its usually some loudmouthed lib bringing it up. One year I was surprised at work when the nearby vocal liberal girl was away from her desk, the rest of us in that area started talking about the election that year and discovered we were all voting for the Republican! So they are definitely around and definitely quiet, even when Trump isn't on the ballot
