I know how it's supposed to go NOW, but my first time, that was my experience.
A Persian flaw in an otherwise fantastic game.
Oh, believe me, it was his.
A pinned message had an audio recording from Jeremy himself asking why he didn't take part in discussions there. That's where he said he just didn't like how Discord itself worked.
Which just baffled me, since I find it WAY easier to use than post-Microsoft-redesign Skype. Man, how far that one had fallen.
And then MGS4 set the Guinness World Record for longest single cutscene length.
I forget the exact length, but it was over an hour.
Metal Gear Solid 3.
The looooong ladder climb.
The game's theme song, done a-capella here, plays over it--and because MGS gets so meta, I repeatedly called other characters on the radio expecting a comment about the music.
Nope.
Not one word.
And because I stopped to call so often...
The song ended long before I reached the top.
If you climb the ladder continuously, the song ends JUST as you reach the top.
It is solely meant to distract you.
But the series goes meta all the time.
You expect a comment.
You call everyone expecting one.
Nope.
Not one word.
So you climb.
Dead silence.
Booooooooooooriiiiiiiiiiiiing
Amen. Alita was fucking great.
I dread what another movie will do, however.
You must not have liked Alita: Battle Angel.
It'll probably be the last good thing James Cameron ever makes.
He also completely lost control of his Discord server to rogue SJW mods and admins because he himself would not come online to handle his shit, because he could not get a handle on how Discord itself worked.
Source: I was there. I left the server because of it, years ago.
Led me to meeting some like-minded people I'm still great friends with today, though, so there's that.
Okay, I'll bite. What is "the Detroit: Become Human video"?
It's a lot harder to spot when it's ten months apart. Fantastic internet detective work.
Rush Limbaugh idolized Reagan to the point of calling him Ronaldus Magnus.
One of the reasons I watch pro wrestling is because you can GUARANTEE there are actual human beings involved.
Funny enough, the problem cleared on its own. I didn't even have to restart Brave.
But thank you, I just got FreeTube a few minutes before I saw this. Works great, even lets me subscribe to channels without having to sign in. I wish I could make comments, but hey, beggars can't be choosers.
And also thank you for not taking my remark as an insult. I was in a bit of a...MOOD when I wrote that. Sorry.
Well, I just had the player itself blocked for the first time today. Got any pointers, other than "get off the computer and live your life, you goddamn fucking idiot"?
...I may have issues.
(Edit: I regret this comment.)
Even though Hermione's skin was described as light and white in one of the books.
Having been raised Lutheran, this one hurts.
Someone on Twitter shared this Pastebin to put into uBlock Origin's custom filters to stop those stupid things.
And it worked...for about 24 hours. They came back tonight.
Full disclosure: AEW has been appointment viewing for me since almost day one. I love the shows--especially after they fired that SJW POS Phil Brooks, better known as CM Punk, for physically attacking other wrestlers and possibly the promoter himself. The shows have been apolitical since Punk left.
Wrestlers have full creative freedom in AEW. They write their own storylines. Nothing--and I mean NOTHING--gets onscreen without the approval of all wrestlers involved, and that includes current AEW World Champion Maxwell Jacob Friedman.
Friedman approved this.
"Rock Hard"/"The Stray Bullet" Juice Robinson (I swear that name is a coincidence) has been interfering in matches by socking opponents' jaws with a fist stuffed with a roll of quarters, a wrestling heel tactic that goes back decades. Think makeshift brass knuckles. That's what Robinson was referring to.
That the story exists at all is enough for me to be grateful.
The original VN is on Switch, too, as are two spinoffs.
Plus, if you buy the VN, you get the NES backport for free. It's not just a retro-graphics version, it's an actual NES ROM that works in NES emulators.
What a shame. All that talent, all that incredible skill...and he becomes this.
Starting to see why Frank Welker, the greatest voice actor alive today, keeps his mouth shut and hates giving interviews.
Steins;Gate is the greatest anime that not enough people have seen.
That would be better known as Order 66, correct?
It's that infamous Doom review. "If only you could talk to the monsters."
I'm almost starting to agree with you.
That's coming from someone who HATED those rapidly-flashing lights games used to have, such as at the end of every Wily boss in Mega Man 2. I think it was that infamous Porygon episode of the Pokemon anime that made Japan stop doing that.
Then again, imagine removing the flashes from the last few episodes of Evangelion--the ones with all the...non-Japanese words.
The unsettling dramatic effect would be GONE. And it wouldn't be as memorable.
I've been using BlockTube for a while, it really does work wonders.
Just be careful, as it's surprisingly easy to block people you didn't mean to. You can even block yourself.
At least undoing it is just a couple of clicks in the extension.
