I'm not willing to give "traditional masculinity" as a synonym for "manosphere." Even if they are trying to just use the manosphere, a word that used to be a bunch of specific niche groups, as a broad term for shit like "likes the UFC" or "uses Draftkings."

But a lot of that list is good to see, as you can name at least one major woke controversy behind most of them dropping.

Literally any game that doesn't have a Chinese translation, or god forbid a poor one, will see itself review bombed into the negatives by them. They are one of the worst, most entitled people and even people not attempting to pander to them will often need to bend the knee just to survive the onslaught.

At least the "why no Ukraine version?!" is a temporary bunch of losers right now, the Chinese have always been this way.

And that's fine. My point wasn't "you absolutely should have heard of this its so big."

Its that it doesn't take "terminally online, never touches grass" to have done so, especially as we have had dozens of topics on it on this very forum about it prior. So him acting elitist about it was retarded.

until Socialism

Well cat's out of the bag, we aren't going back to times when these things don't exist. But if you, individually or as a group, can be so corrupted by these concepts that your entire existence is perverted by them, then I don't think you can be trusted in general.

Much like the black's favorite animal the pitbull.

that a white genocide in Portland is a moral imperative

Yes. Their sins have stacked too high to merely be forgiven or blamed on some external corrupting source. All of the West Coast outside of maybe the rural types should be met with judgement.

You know while touching grass it still came up. Without even being online at all!

You know a meme isn't an internet only thing. Its a legitimate social concept that can and does exist everywhere, with people talking and sharing it in their real life.

And, as to your original point that I agree is often the case, one can be so terminally online that they miss the forest for the trees in their specific little channels (like here) with its memes that they assume that's the whole of the internet itself!

So, you yourself demonstrated the point perfectly.

Mass Effect was carried by its romances and bromances. If you removed Tali and Garrus from the game, it would be a meh shooter with a few good antagonists and meandering plot that fails to stick most of its landings. Same with DA:O and Morrigan.

People will claim otherwise and can legitimately name a lot of things they like about the game, but it was those little factors that turned them from decent games into this "high standard" that Bioware fell from.

And I say that actually enjoying the ME trilogy, and Dragon Age 2 against all reasonability.

A lot of their fans are tumblr degenerates who only care about gay ships and turning every character queer.

Japanese fujo girls are able to keep an entire fucking industry afloat on just their desire to see boys fuck. So much so that they have multiple sub industries based on preference.

These weak American homos can barely support the handful of single games trying to give them the same.

Adamrises 10 points ago +10 / -0

Do you think thier might be a step between "nothing" and "genocide"

Yes, its called all the steps we've been trying for the last century+ in America.

Its not been working too well. Its why the "radical" opinion went from giving them rights, to treating all races as equal, to "we cannot know peace while they draw breathe."

I think we can give the 10 year old boys the freedom to do so.

They have the clarity of mind to not have hormonal instincts overriding them to like girls, so rationally they reject them like we all wish we could.

The Chinese are the biggest whale, and really audience period, market in the world. Many, many Korean (and even some Japanese) games get special Chinese versions with more content and more responsive devs.

So this is a not a new thing, its a long established trend. One that we can't hope to compete against because its sheer market influences doing it, and spending like the Chinese on these games would be retarded in and of itself.

I wish it wasn't the case because I've had quite a few non-gooner mobile games get the same treatment on me and its disappointing.

Well considering by everywhere I meant literal humans I interact with at work have brought it up and laughed about it unprompted, its not "the same twitter feeds."

You know while touching grass it still came up. Without even being online at all!

So I think it might be the case that you yourself are too online and missed what normies are memeing about in the wild.

Adamrises 0 points ago +1 / -1

The only ones I've seen are doing so in mockery, I've yet to meet any positive interaction. The first season at least had middling rumble, mostly Pedro being at his peak career power.

While that is often the case, the potato head meme has been everywhere, including most normie social media, for weeks. One of the biggest shows airing right now (low bar) and its being clowned on by literally everyone. Its not a niche political backwater one, like is often the case.

I'll give them a minor point. Game Ellie didn't get half as much backlash because she was cute and her VA, afaik, didn't get involved in the drama. It all went to Abbey and Druckmann, the really controversial character and the one who wrote it that way.

Instead this Downie made sure to make it all about herself as a person, feeding into every bit of it by making sure we all knew she was reading it and seething. Letting us know she was painfully aware her career was dying more with each episode, and was pretending it was our fault.

She is coming to realize that being an ugly potato head was in fact the only reason she got the role, and now she isn't protected by people's politeness when she was portraying a child and a popular and capable main actor to be the spotlight.

Its at least something new. They've been cope adding Hillary as president since 2008 to various media.

2
Adamrises 2 points ago +2 / -0

It absolutely is. There is an entire section with characters philosophically musing that to characters in a movie their reality is just as real as ours once you've created their world in your mind, and thereby how evil it is to get off on watching them suffer and die. Its deliberately designed to cuck you out of every type of enjoyment you can get watching a horror movie.

And progressives are the exact type who spend all day fantasizing about violence against those they hate, its why, by your own admission, they make up most of horror creators.

Why did it always look cheap ass?

Because it was cheap ass made. It was an original BBC program to teach kids history and science, so it was on the level as a PBS original program on our end.

Then the power of nostalgia made it a some "special" thing decades later, which led to the revival in the 00s. Which was deliberately hampered into looking cheapass as tradition and fanservice.

I find the show insufferable and awful, but its production history isn't equal to better shows like Star Trek.

Irony being, I fucking loved reading as a kid up until my mid 20s. I would shotgun hundreds of pages a day out of huge novels if I was enjoying them.

But any book assigned in an English class was always so mindnumbing and terrible that it would slow to barely a chapter an hour because I'd have to just keep going back to re-read because I was not absorbing anything. I'm still fuming to this day about Desert Solitaire, and I credit Edward Abbey in that book with implanting me with a hatred of environmentalism from a young age by simply being insufferable, hypocritical, and just awful.

It almost feels like reverse psychology with how consistent they are in picking books that accomplish the opposite of whatever they want.

Adamrises 14 points ago +15 / -1

I'll give them one point of credit. Reading that is so boringly unnecessary in its description that my eyes start to glaze over. It is legitimately terrible in every sense but for an English Teacher.

So given their choice of major it should be right up their alley, and only theirs, but also English majors are mostly in it just to go to college on one of the easiest programs rather than to be learned.

That's how I feel about Jules Verne. 20000 Leagues was one of the worst reads of my life and its entirely about the writing style holding back an otherwise pretty wonderful story. Because it needs to bog everything down with so much waxing diarrhea to paint the picture and try to sound scientifically smart that it becomes closer to a tech manual at times.

In this case it seems to be assigned for the "themes" of environmentalism and anti-racism/oppression/imperialism throughout.

Victorian era England was so fucking bad they had to create an entire genre of media to retcon it from history.

3
Adamrises 3 points ago +3 / -0

My favorite is Funny Games which has a subversive but very not progressive message in it, other than maybe "rich people are kinda easy to trick with unflinching politeness."

But that was also made by an small time German guy in the 90s to literally shit on all other horror movies in a "fuck you" manner instead of Scream's "ha ha we called out the trope!" one.

I wasn't a fan, for the reason listed. Almost every factor of it seemed directly designed to appeal to the female audience, and I have met more than a handful of women who admit to being very turned on by many scenes. The second movie even introduces his own little not-Harley Quinn for them to self-insert in.

Which, no hate, everyone deserves their own original IPs pandering to them if they want it. But people treat it as the masterpiece of the genre without question, when it has caveats. And to some it still might be, but that's my opinion.

Though for your question, I think objectively the second one is the best by far and worth your time to see if it appeals to you more than me. It has a much higher budget and production behind it to amp it up from the original, while is still early in the "magical demon shit" elements that the third amps up.

I've never questioned why people watch them. I've in fact argued quite a few times that everyone has their own personal "I know its bad/slop but I enjoyed it" and that everyone who pretends they don't consume anything of the like is lying for virtue signal.
